I have a gas and a charcoal. I use the gas a lot more than the charcoal but there are some things I swear by with charcoal, especially if using wood chips. I prefer to grill on my gas and barbeque on my charcoal in most instances.
We need to get some recipes/favorites up on here. I'll post a few of my favorites when I get home. Great thread. Now I'm fucking hungry!0 -

Grilling (direct heat) and barbecue/smoking (indirect heat) are all better with real fire and coal.
Propane grills are for the Speedy and the lazy! Charcoal is for the real grill masters!0 -
