  • I have a gas and a charcoal. I use the gas a lot more than the charcoal but there are some things I swear by with charcoal, especially if using wood chips. I prefer to grill on my gas and barbeque on my charcoal in most instances.

We need to get some recipes/favorites up on here. I'll post a few of my favorites when I get home. Great thread. Now I'm fucking hungry!

Neither is salmon, shrimp, halibut, and various other delicious seafood...I guess now would be a good time to take my foot out of my mouth and begin referring to myself as a pescetarian? :P

Grilling (direct heat) and barbecue/smoking (indirect heat) are all better with real fire and coal.

Propane grills are for the Speedy and the lazy! Charcoal is for the real grill masters!:lol::lol:

first ear of corn on the grill last night
My husband came home and I said, "Hey Honey open the grill"
He does, looks at me funny like what? and says "ok and what am I doing?"
    I say "smelling, just smelling"
it smells like home, it smells like the Wisconsin State Fair
it was the best corn we ever had :)
