  • I have a gas and a charcoal. I use the gas a lot more than the charcoal but there are some things I swear by with charcoal, especially if using wood chips. I prefer to grill on my gas and barbeque on my charcoal in most instances.

    We need to get some recipes/favorites up on here. I'll post a few of my favorites when I get home. Great thread. Now I'm fucking hungry! :lol:

    Grilling (direct heat) and barbecue/smoking (indirect heat) are all better with real fire and coal.

    Propane grills are for the Speedy and the lazy! Charcoal is for the real grill masters! :lol::lol::lol:

    Actually, when I lived in Illinois I grilled all year too! Yep, digging the grill out of a 4 foot snowbank...totally worth it!! :D

    Bahahahaha....snow, never a problem here! I don't need an excuse to use it, and now there is nothing that can't be done on the new one....wooohoooo, bye bye 25yo flat top 3burner, you have done us well, but now we have a shiny flashy preeeeeeeettttyyy new one! LOL
