I will still take my gas grill, over charcoal, any day of the week.
We bought one that uses propane this summer and it's great. We use it all the time and we only just now had to refill the tank. That makes it so much less expensive than charcoal. I don't think we're ever going back! &&&&&&&&&&&&&&0 &&&&&&&&&&&&&&0

Today is the perfect day for it here!! I even bought some ribs the other day.
Fuck the flu. I've been on my couch for 4 days.
Oh and I use gas. Easier to clean up and heats more evenly.
Jeez I wish I could sit out on the back porch with those ribs and some beers. *cough*DAL-7/5/98,10/17/00,6/9/03,11/15/13

If/when Kathy and I get that new house. The very FIRST thing we are doing, is renting a u-haul van. Then we are going to purchase our new lawn furniture, load it in the u-haul, and grill out in the yard for the next 120 days.Flagg wrote:Today is the perfect day for it here!! Anyone use a grill with infrared heating?
I'm in the market for a new grill this year, and found a good deal on a char broil infrared grill. The reviews people either say it's the best ever or they suck. Doesn't seem to be a middle ground. My whole life
 was like a picture

            Love grillin'! well, I don't actually grill myself....I don't cook....so I rely on going to cook-outs.
how about a good tuna steak on the grill? fresh veggies? mmmmmmm........
and simply because I am having one right now, add a Bloody Mary to the menu.believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

Charcoal is for purists. If you are grilling anything, you need to just slow down, marinade your meat, crack a beer, and light the briquettes. Nothing needs to be accomplished in 30 seconds when you are grilling. 30 second time frames are for microwaves, not outdoor grills.SPEEDY MCCREADY wrote:Exactly...

I totally agree. It's the whole process that makes the end result that much more fulfilling.
Gas grills are like cooking on a stove, outside.Nice shirt.0
