    Chicago here we come!

Breath_gal- where you in section 202 aisle 1? last night? You two look like the couple that was in front of me and my wife. lol.. aisle 2 seat 5/6.

We were in 203 on the isle. We were super spazzy!
  • All I can say is PORCH ROCKED like it was 1992 and I hate tin roofs.
    Oh dear dad
    Can you see me now
    I am myself
    Like you somehow
    I'll ride the wave
    Where it takes me
    I'll hold the pain
    Release me
  • Im 19 and that was my first show, and first off thanks to the ten club for the awesome seat, and secondly what a great show, the only song im sad they did not play was release but i really dont care that much was such a good show for my first time. going to have trouble going to other concerts now lol and probs to the band for still being able to play off of the old stuff with such force and energy still stands strong and the solo for alive and porch were to good. Even my dad said it was the best show he saw and his seen bands like queen and pink floyd
  • o and does anyone think they will do the bootleg of this lol my dad wants it cause his getting older and cant handle the concert stuff anymore and wish i had joined on some of the 10c pre show parties and stuff o well next time.
  • i am speachless....i have no speach.

will somebody pick up that damn phone!
That I no longer give a fuck

I cant get over the pre show festivities. Thanks to the recorders with vids up on youtube. terrific job.

cant wait to hear the boot of the show. Great setlist for most of the show. Very 'hitsy' setlist for the encores, but there was so much energy from the band and the crowd. It was as if they were playing Porch, Alive, Betterman, Black, RITFW etc... in 93. And the crowd was reacting as if it was 93.

    AMAZING night~
    Faithful hit the spot!
Just got back home to Wisconsin- Damn long drive!

here's one of a few videos I recorded- Not my best work as my seats were a little further back.
I started on the stage then moved to the video monitors as I didn't want to pixelize too badly.
    It's at least watchable.... :)

Ted Leo and the Pharmacists Search And Destroy (Iggy Pop) (w/ Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready)

I'm having a tough time getting the other videos off the SD flash card- Any suggestions?
They are still on there as I can play them through the camera just can't download?

I had great seats, around great people. I had forgotten how great the sound is at the Ampitheatre.
Maybe it was just me and my old ears, but were the vocals a bit muffled last night? When Eddie sopke to the crowd it seems a bit muffled . . . maybe I'm just going deaf and have damaged my hearing so much over the years :)

Where were you sitting? I swear I can hear myself scream at the beginning of this and you seem to be near to where I was.

    I was Section 201, Row E, seats 9-10.

When you hook the camera to the computer can you see the SD card in My Computer? If so you should be able to seek to the directory with the vids and just copy and paste over to the computer. Also, if your computer has an SD reader you could pull the card out and put it in there.

Anyone get video of Ed's "healthcare" speech?

I lost him about halfway through and only sort of understood what he was saying . . . would like to re-listen and really make sense of the "dog metaphor" he used . . . and using an example of the dog licking his asshole in front of Neil Young :?

From what I can remember he said us as Canadians must look at the US health care situation like a dog chasing its own tail. They he said it would be like have a distriguished guest like uncle neil over and the dog comes and sits beside him and starts licking its own asshole.

To be honest, chasing the tail part made sense but I am not sure what the metaphor was for the later part.
