Even as a diehard Cubs fan, I knew he did it...even then.

The guy ballooned up in no-time!

I'm a 32 year old Cubs fan. Been a fan since 1984 when I was 7. This year, it's the same old Cubs. Underachieving, poor fundamentals, accepted mediocrity, etc. It's tolerated year after year by yuppy-ass Cubs fans that keep pouring into that stadium. You're dealing with morons that sing "Go Cubs Go", possibly the lamest song ever created in the history of man, after every home victory. I watch it when I feel like it, but over the years my trips to Wrigley have become fewer and farther between. Even the TV viewing has gotten difficult to take with true company men, Len & Bob scared as shit to tell the truth about the shit baseball being played. Bring back Harry from the dead, give Steve Stone a call and encourage him to speak his mind, and for the love of God quit singing that hideous fucking "Go Cubs Go" horseshit.

    Thank you.

I respectfully disagree with you. Although "Go Cubs Go" is pretty awful, there are many sports related songs that are much worse. Take this hunk of steaming shit:

I like the sound of that Speedy.

What's the deal with Lou and not having the balls to pull any of these guys playing like shit from the lineup?

He said yesterday that "changes" are coming and today's lineup is pretty much the same. I think he's officially losing his mind. But his press conferences are still great.

I guess it is tough to pull your leadoff man who is making $140 million....

they signed Fukudumbass to over $40 million...
    Bradley is at $30 million.....
Soto was rookie of the year last year.....

HE HAD NO CHOICE but to give these guys a few months to see if they could pull it together.....But NOW is the time to change things....

Drop Sorryano to 5th or 6th in the lineup...for starters...

Yeah, Hendry has definitely made some questionable moves.

Aramis being out is really killing the Cubs.

Soriano definitely needs to be put on the bench for a few days and then dropped to 5th-6th in the lineup when he comes back.

Both teams are lucky to be in shit divisions and not be that far out of it yet.

But don't worry, the Bears start training camp in 5 weeks!!

    Eh. We still f'n suck.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do
  • Bottom line is that the NL Central is average this year. That being said, I think the Cubs will be right there at the end. A-Ram coming back will have a huge impact on the lineup and the guys will come around. D-Lee is heating up, Soriano will bust out of the slump, and Bradley, well he still sucks. See what a win against the White Sox does for my confidence! Its gonna be wierd seeing Wood in another Uniform this weekend.

You're right. The Cubs being in the worst division in baseball def. has it perks! LOL!

I miss A-Ram! I never realized how much influence he had on the team until I started going back and looking at his numbers. I always saw him as "top 3" but shit, the guy lead almost ever freakin' category offensively!

I do think him coming back is a solid boost to the offense and the morale of the team. Thank god the NL Central sucks to bad otherwise we'd be done already!

Exactly 100 games left, they probably need to go 60-40 to make the playoffs, sounds impossible right now but if they can put a big streak together they will be right there in late Sept.

Now that was a hell of a game! (too bad it wasn't on TV here :( )

Down 7, and they claw all the way back to take it!

This game should give the Cubs offense some much needed confidence!

Good to see Lee swinging the bat better.

Not sure about Harden though. That guy is serving them up!

WOW, just got back from two great walk off winner games! Hopefully this is the boost this team is looking for to go on a nice little run. Couldn't believe we were 7 down and came back, unreal!! It was nice seeing Wood and DRo back in town.
