I was talking to vedhead27 again about Lost last night and this came up. If Locke gets off the island by pushing the wheel there and returns to the "real" world. Will he be in a wheel chair again because he's off the island? And is that why he broke his leg there from the fall before he pushed the wheel to get him ready for that transition.

Also, if by pushing the wheel, Locke gets the island out of the loop that it's in and stops the flashing, wouldn't everyone be trapped in the past? Because unless the well was filled up in the future for some reason, Sawyer, Juliet and the rest are standing by the area where the well hasn't been built yet.

I was under the impression the well had been covered over...which is why the rope was hanging out of the dirt. AKA...they were in a time AFTER the well.

It very well could be, but after Farraday's raft and the outrigger time jumped with them after a flash since Sawyer was holding the rope it jumped with them. So we really don't know where in time they are right now.

Also, it could be that Sawyer unknowingly marked the location of the well because of that. I mean someone might came at a later time and dig a well there because they see a rope sticking out of the ground if they flashed back to the past.

Could be at a time after the Orchid was built and that's why the well was covered. But who knows at this point, figure we'll get more info in the next episode or two.

  • I'm thinking that Locke seeing Christian might have been a hallucination. I mean a fall like that he must have hit his head.

Poor Jack. I wanted so much to like him. I wanted him to be the hero, the good guy.
Then somewhere in S2 I just got so fed up with him.
Can he just make a decision already?
Can he do anything without crying?

I'm all for guys getting in touch with their feminine sides but Jack is just a mess.
Would you want this guy doing surgery on you?

Maybe in the final episode he and Juliet will open a fertility clinic on the island and find happiness together.

    :P

Except that's not very fair to Juliet, is it? ;)

Just a couple of random thoughts.

I realized the reason I'm not relieved that Charlotte finally died. Since we learned that she lived on the island as a child and Daniel warned her not to come back, we still have to see her back story. So she's going to be around for a while.

I've been thinking that Aaron may somehow be the key to all the elements of the story fitting together. The fact that the Others tried to steal him from Claire, that so many people contrived to get Claire on that flight, that he miraculously survived so many things. I think he's going to turn out to be more important than he's seemed. He may be the future leader of the island. The last episode was called The Little Prince. Just guessing, haven't checked any spoilers.

I'm not there yet but I could see it happening. Hurley's kind of the heart of the show and I can't imagine it without him so I really don't want him to turn into somebody I don't like anymore.

What I AM starting to get really sick of is the time travel. Flashbacks or back stories were one thing. The time transitions are starting to get really gimmicky. Or maybe I'm just getting too confused.

I don't recall seeing it anywhere in the thread (I could be wrong about that though)...but I'm sure you all noticed that that the French dudes were picking up the transmission of The Numbers?? 4 8 15 16 23 42
I think someday when these numbers are the actual "real lottery numbers" There will be hundreds if not thousands of winners that have to split the Jackpot

Here's the summary of last week's episode from my favorite Lost blog, The Ack Attack. Check it out some time, I promise you will laugh.

    http://www.theackattack.net/?p=473

    An excerpt:

“I’m Montand! I’m an epic dickhead! Where is Nadine, that bitch? This is what happens when you bring a woman! She’s probably out there chasing a butterfly and PMS-ing while asking for directions and nagging all the male polar bears about when they’re going to fix the toilet!”

Little did Montand know, Nadine was toast. FRENCH TOAST.

The Smoke Monster was all, “WTF, WHO IS THIS MISOGYNISTIC ASSHOLE!?”

Smoke Monster: tch tch tch tch tch tch tch tch tch tch tch tch tch
    Montand: WTF!?
Smoke Monster: 1950 CALLED, THEY WANT THEIR SOCIAL MORES BACK.
Montand: FRENCH, MOTHERFUCKER! DO YOU SPEAK IT?
Smoke Monster: VA TE FAIRE FOUTRE!!!!!!!!!

Even better than the enhanced episodes they show the week after! :ugeek:
