This season has been alright by me. :ugeek: 8-)
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

I must disagree with the last few posters. I have found this season so far to be off the charts good. Season 1 good.

Lots of answers (The Rousseau epi was great)
    Really great lines
    New Mysteries

and after next weeks episode (they do need to fill in that hole), we can get down and dirty and see who really is who and what side everyone is on.

I didn't say anything about this season...just last night's episode. I was so not a fan. It was absolutely ridiculous.

I'm especially annoyed with the time shifts...as is common with tv shows...they seem to happen JUST at the right time. For example...last night...it just HAPPENED to be Jin that rolled up in the van. Or...it just HAPPNED to be Rousseau's team that came across Jin driftin' along. The Left Behinders just HAPPENED to run into Charles Widmore.

And, I mentioned previously that the time shifts aren't allowing them to get much rest...and one theory was that the time shifts would occur at longer and longer intervals (like a pendulum). I was ok with that theory...definitely made sense...but, that's obviously not happening.

And it REALLY don't make any sense to me...that if The Island is so damn picky about having everything and everyone back the way It wants it...why would it not demand Desmond back? Yeah yeah...Des has unfinished business...I get that. But The Island clearly requires CERTAIN people to be there...and he was one of them.

Still disagree with you but to each his own. Although Mrs. Hawking a'int no Ben in the acting department.

That's for damn sure. But I *DID* enjoy where she said, "Probably so" in regards to Ben lying. That was the entire highlight of last night's epi. I'm not joking.

I think because Des CAN change things, the Island would not want him back but those trying to manipulate it do (ala Mrs. Hawking, who is very bad in my opinion).

The highlight for me Lapidus and Ben's line about reading.

Desmond came by boat so his way back to the island would be different than theirs - at least that's what I think.

My only real question last night was why Ben was on the plane because he wasn't with them originally and might have made things "unpredictable" to quote Hawkins said.

You mean Jack's and Ben's? And...Ben lied there too...he said his mom taught him. His mom died in child birth.

I don't know...I'm feeling really hostile about last night's epi (can you tell?).

Since John was replacing Jack's father, can't Ben be replacing John as the impaired person on the plane?

Sorry but I thought last night's show was amazing.
I work with six people that all watch the show and we could not stop talking about how great it was.
Very little work was done this morning.

I think Ben said when he turned the wheel with Locke the first time he could not go back, so he was probably lying. Maybe he is not supposed to go back, but he is only doing what he wants. I think we all may be reading to much into Ben being on the plane, no one ever said he had to be on it. And I don't think it has been said he even needs to go back to the Island. I think the only people it really is supposed to be about is the Oceanic six. ben is just hitching a ride.

That would be stuff since Locke blew it up. ;)

My other question is with the O6 aging 3 years and the people remaining on the island aging maybe a week or so at most. How is that going to work?

I don't think Jack's dad is Jacob. Apparently, in season four when Locke went to ask what to do with the island, Jack's dad said he was speaking on Jacob's behalf.
They pointed that out on the enhanced rerun of last weeks episode at 8PM.
They also said that they were in a past time before the well was dug when the well closed over with Locke's nasty dangling tibia inside.

That's why I think Pop Up Lost is so important to watch!!!

I'm guessing you mean "tough", instead of "stuff"?? Well, the Oceanic flight crashed...but they could get back via another plane....and I'm pretty sure the world had more than one submarine. ;)

I agree. I've emailing with my ex co-workers about the episode all day. It's the only thing I miss about my old job was our coffee break discussions about Lost the next day.

And, AC, yep I meant tough ... sorry about the typo. ;)

We don't know why either way if it's important for Walt to get back at some point - plus we still have the rest of the season and next season to find out.

I have a feeling we're going to find out a lot next week when we see Locke off the island and who he visits the O6. I could be wrong but didn't Walt visit Hurley in the mental institution and say that Locke visited him. So maybe we'll see what Locke said to him too.

I think the Island decides who it wants and does not want, if that makes sence. Kind of how when Michael died, the Jacks Dad said he could leave. Walt may return though if it is not done with him, kind of how I think Desmond has to go back.
