Hmmmm I have not....what, did that come from the peeps that couldn't make it over here? I see it as all I need is one board - it's too much after that. I was thinking of going back to RM/TSIS because of this nonsense.

yup. like right now there are 12 people online there (all former pitters) 10 here. so basically we're split in half from the way it used to be. sucks. i kind of float in between the two but that board is much more active than this one so far. theres just not a lot of sports talk yet...

Well that sucks...things I liked talking about on here was sports, all things Philly, drinking, inane bullshit. And there's definitely not enough of these things going on here. Yeah, I'm on over there now. Still may check out RM and peace this place all together. There's just too much ridiculousness going on here.

I'm staying here. Don't have enough time to go between two boards and catch up.

I'm just surprised that so many people used to post on here that weren't fan club members.

Yeah, it's funny how there's "too cool for school" clubs within each "circle." I started originally posting on RM like eight years ago and the die hards over there are so adamant as to why they don't post here. It's pretty funny - allegiances to message boards.

Ummm I would just like to reiterate that the 2008 Phillies had the best playoff winning percentage since the inception of the wild card along with the '99 Yankees.....Yeah, this team is that good. And I give Amaro a A++ so far.

I don't like the signing of Ibanez. You get an older LF with range problems who is an additional lefty bat in lefty heavy lineup. Other than that he hasn't done much.

He hasn't done much? Well, whatever....I'm tellin ya, Ibanez is a better player than Burrell and LF in The Bank isn't that hard to play.

What has he done besides trading for a backup C, signing Chan Ho Park and Ibanez, and negotiating with arbitration eligible players. Trading Golson for Newberry isn't a big move and everyone knew they were going to resign Moyer.

He's not done any signature move yet except the Ibanez signing and I think he's a good player but not the best fit for the lineup. You're going into a season where your best righty bat is Werth and that's a little risky if you ask me. And now you have lineup issues. Do you bat lefties 3,4,5 or do you stick Werth there at 5 as protection for Howard which case Howard will see very little to hit.

Signing Hamels to a 3-year deal was huge. Remember how unhappy Hamels was last year when he only got $500K? Locking him up for 3 years is a great deal by Amaro.

oh and watched again on Comcast the perfect season Phils dvd and still gives me chills to see the final out and pictures from the parade.

The lack of RH batters does scare me about the Phils lineup especially late in games where you can throw out a lefty reliever to face the heart of the order.
