    I think it's great that the Sox won and have a mix of kids and old vets.

    They had the 3rd, 4th and 5th oldest players in the AL this year in Timlin, Wakefield and Schilling respectively. And Ellsbury, Papelbon, Pedroia, Lester, Bucholz, Delcarmen and Youklis will be here for years to come.

    That's the best part the Red Sox will be able to strongly defend this CHAMPIONSHIP in 08' that's just as exciting. :)

    I was disappointed to hear that, but I'm sure it will be quite a scene when we see it. Besides, I can't picture the Rockies blasting Shipping Off to Boston on the pa after losing the World Series for him to dance.

    Speaking with Fox Sports New England's Greg Dickerson .... Greg asked Ortiz about his defense the fact he was doubted both in '04 and this year in regards to his ability to play 1st base in the NL parks, and that he actually flashed some decent leather .... Papi retorted ...
