    Far from it, been a fan since I can remember Bird's declining seasons. Too young to remember his glory days.
    We had a tough decade in the 90's with Reggie Lewis' death.
    As well as a bunch of shitty players like Rick Fox and Eric 'good-for-nothing' Montrose. Pierce and Walker duo were pretty good to watch...

    what's the big deal? We're getting them where we want them. We'll go down 1-3, then win the next three. It's how it's suppose to happen folks.

    i.e. 2004 down 0-3....won world series
    2007 down 1-3....won world series
    2008 going to be down 1-3....history repeats itself

    Because Beckett and Lester pitched so well their last times out?? I hate to say it for you, but this is the Rays year I think...baseball will hate it...I WILL LOVE IT...New teams, new players and something DIFFERENT...DIFFERENT is good...:)

    I don't understand what you are saying...I said because Beckett and Lester DID NOT pitch well that they will not have a repeat of those performances, and that DiceK will get the job done so that those two will have a chance to pitch. Keep the Faith. I don't like change.

    last year when the Sox were down 3-1 to the Indians I wasn't worried at all because Beckett was pitching the next game. Now I'm worried when anyone pitches. Dice-K j throws too many balls, Beckett is shaky and Lester didn't pitch well against the Rays yesterday.

    it's been a sad, sad series for those guys.

    on that note, Masterson is pitching well, but our offense can't get good consecutive at bats, although they are making good contact.
