i saw it too and i'm dying to talk about it!!!
i LOVED batman begins and this one was so much better. it exceeded all the hype!!! heath was as good as they've been saying. action sequences were pretty kick@ss. i don't want to give anything away but there was a shocker!

i lucked into an advanced screening tonight (after i already bought my tickets for tomorrow) so i'll be looking forward to seeing it again then! :D

The Phantom Menace was a let down but I have seen way worse movies then that one. I don't think it needed to be boo'd

The main thing I hated about that movie besides Jar Jar and the awful kid playing Aniken was that they killed off Darth Maul. That was a great character that should have been in the second movie.

I think there is no way that Dark Knight will be a let down. It has to many talented people working on it.
Darth Maul was badass. Jar Jar was quite possibly one of the most annoying characters in any SW movie. Apart from the Ewoks.

And i shall be forever haunted by young Anakin and his 'are you an angel' dialogue. Oh man. So lame. I was soooooooooo excited for that movie, i'm a total SW nerd. I was very disappointed :(

    But anyways.....

TDK tonight! Hells yes! Pumped. Cannot wait!

    Great movie

Ditto.....just got back from the midnight show. The movie is pretty stunning. Heath Ledger really did give it is all, and invested everything he had into this role. Aaron Eckhardt was amazing as Harvey Dent as well. Best Batman movie to date, and arguably the best comic book movie i've seen.

Also got back from the midnight show.

All I can say is that this movie not only lived up to the hype, but shattered all my expectations.

Personally, part of me hopes they don't make any more Batman movies cause I'm not sure its possible to live up to this one.

great movie. joker was wicked, his little magic trick was awesome.

the film went out for like 10 minutes and when they brought it back it didnt have sound for like another 5 which really sucked. and they didnt even refund us the ticket or give us one for another time. its happened before and they gave us a free ticket to any movie afterwards.

so i kinda have to see it again from when joker got on the bus to the bar scene i have no clue what happened.

ledger owns the joker, sorry jack you lost the title. every scene with the joker was awesome. they did a great job writing that character and ledger just made it better.

i wanna see it again now!!!

i saw an interview with him and they were asking if he talked to nolan about how to play it. he said within five minutes of being asked to play the joker he knew how he wanted to act the part. i thought it was interesting that was his idea....because it really was the perfect joker. he played it with a perfect mix of humor and pure psychotic.

you. complete. me. <--favorite line of the movie. :D

I will see it again a couple of weeks from now when things settle down.

Got to the theatre quater to eleven for the midnight show, and me and 5 other people I came with were forced to sit in the 1st row.People were there after 5pm, can u believe that, for just a seat up top. So the fight sequences were a little tough to see who's ass was getting kicked. I was blown away how big the picture was on the IMAX Dome,

Also kudos for the opening part, I felt like I was gonna hit the building

Also Cradle of Aviation Imax theatre on Long Island where I saw the film had the original 1960's TV show Batmobile, I snapped a few photos on my camera phone

Saw the midnight screening last night...was totally blown away. Now, I'm going at noon. Seeing it twice in 12 hours is a bit much, but it's Friday and I don't feel like being at work.

Couldn't agree more. As good as Ledger was, the script was just as good. Perfect combination.

Oh my where to begin !!

I didnt even get into woprk until 11am..LoL

Unbelievable movie...every roll in this movie is dead on

Heath Ledger is unreal...sad he wont be back

I can't believe how dark and sick he is in this movie

The theater I went to had at least 4 theaters showing it and all the people dressed up as the Joker and Harvey Dent

I'm probably going again over the weekend

Edit : One review I read pretty much sums it up

Believe every ounce of the hype surrounding The Dark Knight.

"So: Is the performance on a par with "Brokeback Mountain"? In its interiority - in the sense that it springs from a mysterious engine at the actor's core - yes. Is it Oscar worthy? Sure, if that's how you measure these things. In the end, though, the achievement's more than that, or harder. It makes you mourn a gifted man's stupid death with fresh and vigorous sorrow."

it's true. i know some people think it's sad to mourn over celebrities we didn't even know.... but mostly this movie made me come away feeling so sad again about the loss of heath...it really is such a waste of huge talent.

i am pyched to read it truly delivers! really looking forward to seeing it! for whatever reason, the batman series is really the only comic book based movie character i ever got into and truly enjoyed the films. also just got 4 free movie passes for my firm, definitely will be using 2 for hubby and i to go see this! however, gonna wait a bit...hate being in packed theatres. so most definitely have to be careful round here and not read any spoilers! :)
