I wonder if the re-release will count towards its box office numbers.

It's currently number 2 all time - 87 million behind Titanic.

It will, the Star Wars original trilogy were re-released 20 years later and made serious coin which was attributed to their overall box office.

    It definitely will

It's $87 million behind Titantic but they said with inflation and the cost of movie tickets now...TDK would have to gross $900 million to be #1 all time (technically)

see i dont see it that way. if tickets were cheaper maybe more people would have seen it. so it kinda works both ways. if they go with biggest $$$ thats one thing, and so is most tickets sold. but they arent the same.

Well it is very obvious, and also has been stated explicitly by Chris Nolan, but some still believe that the whole funeral scene and so forth was a smokescreen created by the higher ups in Gotham to save Harveys image, and he may still be alive. Personally though, I think he's dead.

yea, closed casket etc....seeing him alive in the next movie would be so beneath anything chris nolan has ever done its not even funny.

i believe in the fact that harvey dent is dead. PUN
