    couldn't agree more.....i couldn't imagine having norm away from me for too long.....he went to the groomers the other day and i couldn't wait for the call to pick him up.....:)

    i dont think i'll ever forget the look in surfs eyes when i saw him. it hurt. its hard though cuz i wanna do the right thing and not leave him with just ANYONE ya know? i HADD to send him to doggie vacation! I dont think i'll leave him that long again though. My mom always says that he is my child cuz he can never be without me! she says when i go away like to shows or whatever, that he doesnt eat or bark at anyone but instead sleeps by my window! Right now he's right outside the window at my shop looking at me. :) I slept nexxxt to him last night and he curled up nexxxt to me and put his doggie paw on my arm and let out a sigh of relief! awwwwww i love my prince!

    so i just wanted to come in here and tell you all that i hadd a really good morning with SURF!!! I hadd a late night last night with some people and i kept thinking of getting back just to be with my doggie! It was 5am and he was sitting there waiting for me. awwww i slept an hour then took him with me to do laundry and go for a drive just like we used to! it made my day AND his! Its been years since i took him to that spot where we used to go. He was being friendly to people and sticking his doggie head out the window as i drove. it was GREAT. Im SOOOOO happy that i have my prince back. Thank you guys in here for the doggie love this thread holds!!! :)

    Being away from your dog is hard...I always cry when I drop my pooches off at my parents' whenever we travel anywhere...And then I miss them so much!

    You need to keep it that way Sen. Don't allow yourself to be his human again, just let him be your dog.

    Actually he is sucking on it!!! Has done this since day one, every time he tries to fall asleep.

    Today my beautiful boy Mason would have been 7. He was the sweetest dog to ever live, and I was blessed to share his short life.

    I type this with such a heavy heart. I had to put down my beautiful little girl, brandy. she was/is 15 and the last 2 years havent been so kind to her. she became about 80% blind 95% deaf and was losing bladder control. her little legs didnt work so well either. she was sleeping 21-22 hours out of the day and it was time. her life wasnt the same and each day you could just see her decline. i felt i owed it to her to send her off peacefully before she got even worse.
    she sometimes suffered asthma attacks and i just couldnt bare the thought of her dying grasping for air. she was put down friday and i miss her more than words can express. i hope i did the right thing, i hope i didnt end her life before her time. she gave us her everything and i can only hope i did right by her. and i pray to god i see her again. she was the sweetest dog ever.
    pj addicted, i'm sorry for masons loss. i know he watches over you still on the rainbow bridge. maybe he and brandy are playing together.

    there is absolutely NOTHING more heart breaking, body numbing, mind losing, soul emptying, than having to put down or losing your doggie. NOTHING. Theres some great doggies up at rainbow bridge~
