College football sucks.
I watch once they become professionals.
How lame is it that the guy who will be starting in the NFL next year is playing against the guy who will be working in the AP dept for some small business? All that's sacred, comes from youth....dedications, naive and true.0 -

how lame is it that a guy plays for a city he doesn't even like or care for?
NFL is all about money, who will pay me more. They don't give a crap about the fans or the cities they play for..
College players on the other hand pick the team they want to play for, and they are a part of that team till the day they die. This is the reason there are rivalries in college sports but not in the pros (Yankees Red Sox is no exception). Rivalries in college sports reach other to everyone including the players. In pro sports rivalries are just between the fans, the players don't give a crap because they could be playing for the other team the next year if they are offered more money.
I guess it's hard to get into it when you have crappy college football in your area, but college sports are much better than pro sports.0
