  • Brian's story continues to run occasionally on E! as I still receive messages from people which is very nice.

Pardon me if I'm missing something, but why would this story be running on E? Is that E, the Entertainment Channel?

It runs on an E! Investigates special - about the Horros of Spring Break, all these terrible horror stories about kids getting attacked and robbed while vacationing for spring break in tropical places. This story seemed familiar when I was watching it and then saw the Alive Guy on the "lost" poster. I keep checking here to see if theres even an update....
  • In seven weeks (plus a few days), one of two things will happen.

    A) He will have been found

    or

    B) He will have been missing for two years.

I also updated the first post. The link to CrimeStoppers and their missing poster is no longer working. We now have a link to Ohio State University's Medical Center website and their missing poster (same one, actually.) The updated text now reads:

Ohio State University Medical Center. Here, you'll find a link to a flyer announcing the fact that Brian is missing and reward information. If you want to print this out, feel free. I personally ask that you get permission from venue management before passing out fliers at any show. The same applies to CCFA benefit fund raisers. I would hate for someone to spend $30 on fliers, only to have them confiscated before you get them all passed out.

Also at that link is a video PSA (Public Service Announcement) as well as text of the Dateline interview from 2006.

really unbelievable that adults can just go missing in America with no further word from them. :(

That's happened with this guy who went missing from a bar downtown here back in November... he just vanished. So crazy.

    I hope they're both ok...

Maybe this has been mentioned, I'm not reading 40 pages to find out, but who keeps logging in to his MySpace page? Isn't it password protected?

    From the first post:

Brian's MySpace. This page is being monitored and updated by his family and girlfriend.

The reason why I asked is because she said in a past comment on his page that she wondered who was logging into his account.

I don't have an answer, other than to make a guess that perhaps it was the private investigator?

Believe it or not there are some people that WANT to go missing. I'm not saying that's what happened with this kid in Columbus, but it could be the case. I know I've thought about it on more than a few occasions.

Yeah. I think I know what you're trying to say. I hope he didn't disappear on purpose, just saying that this could be a possibility. Of course, I don't want to infer anything either way.

I do believe he was under a lot of stress in the time leading up to his disappearance. I think (not sure), I think it was his mom who had recently passed away, plus he was in medical school.

Put those two things together and who knows what was going through his mind.

OTOH, he had a plane ticket the next day (or day after) to Florida with his girlfriend. It was thought that he was going to propose marriage to her in Florida.

There's only one person that really knows for sure, and unfortunately, we're trying to find that guy.

I was driving right past Ugly Tuna Saloona (bar where he was last seen) the other day. They had a "Still Missing" poster on display near the street corner. -- Bar isn't at the corner, but it's part of a major shopping/entertainment complex which is partially located on a corner.

If there's ANY silver lining about time passing, it's that more people come into OSU as students, and therefore more students hear about his story.

BTW - It's less than one hour until April 1st, 2008 here on the East Coast of the USA.

That's what's probably the most frustrating thing about this whole saga.

A guy disappears and there's no sign of anything. No sign of foul play, no sign of where he possibly could have gone, or anything.

    I respectfully disagree, mikeg12_82.

    It stays sticky.

Alex's family and friends appreciate the fact that we still care about him by keeping tabs on the case and although it has been very slow lately, it means a lot to them seeing this thread still going on the Pit with continuing support from the PJ fans.

Just ignore the sticky if it bothers you.

Yes, it is sad but what is sadder is the fact you found the need
to post such an ignorant comment.
