It is hard to believe I am saying this, but the mess in Iraq after we leave will still be Bush's fault. Any soldier who dies now is just a number to be added to the list in the name of covering up the mistakes made by the administration. I don't fully blame the President for us going in, lots of people are part of this misguided war, but at the end of the day, it was his decision, his call, and in his own words he is accountable. It sucks, but that is reality.

The question is how many more Americans will die in the name of trying to produce 'victory' before the reality comes home. The sooner the better I say, cause our current path will not produce victory.

And yes, there will be bloodshed, it will be really bad, but it will always be Bush's fault cause he can't fix what he broke.

    nice...very profound.

so i'm guessing that's your way of saying you really don't give a shit about humanity, and more importantly, the here and now.
And you ask me what I want this year

are you honestly saying that the dems won control because of left-wing views? don't you remember grandma pelosi and dingy harry going into hiding during the campaign? and when people like me pointed this out, people here (not you ) said it didn't matter...just opposing the admin. was the important thing.

lots of people wnated a change..including me...and lots of other right wing whackos...we wanted to take the restrictions off the troops and fight to win, not to fight a political PC war.

ppl voted the republicans out b/c they suck when it comes to immigration and spending...and they wanted a change in the war....but to make the jump to say that 2/3rds want us to pull out is just another leap, and just another instance of the left not understanding simple principles of logic.

How do you know what people want? Polls? Polls are showing the war was a mistake and that people don't approve of deploying more troops last I checked.

not understanding the principles of logic or not having basic word comprehension?

    how does 'change' = 'withdrawl'???

what the polls say the ppl want is 2/3 DON'T want any more troops sent, MORE than 2/3 don't want anymore funding for new troops, over 1/2 think iraq is a hopeless situation, just under 2/3 want a timetable for withdrawl....

what's funniest, tho is the poll on what the us should do, btw, higher numbers mean more

increase number of troops - 26%
keep the same number - 17%
    decrease -23%
    remove all - 28%
    unsure - 6%

regardless of withdrawl or no withdrawl, ppl wanted change, the polls show they see it as a disaster AND they don't want to give it more money AND they don't want to give it more troops....well, what the fuck did this congress do? give bush more money and more troops

The only thing that will prove Kucinich is unelectable is if he isn't elected. If you want him to win, campaign for him, donate money to him, spread the word. Hell, if he makes it to the general, I'll vote for him.

Electable? We don't know yet. In 2008, we'll have our answer.

And he's married now? Hate to say it, but that'll help.

I'm doing my best! And yep, he's now married. Check out the clip I posted of Elizabeth Kucinich on the last page.

so what was the part that made him unelectable? he is short? he is a vegan? wtf???

he seems to be one of the veeeeery few politicians that isn't the usual crook/boldfaced liar...

the fact that he is real and honest is what makes him unelectable in this country.

Funny thing about this board. I mentioned Kucinich early in '04 as somebody I could possibly vote for and the idea was effectively banned by general consensus. In a real shitty way, too. You think the remarks are bad now, imagine the remarks back then.

I know. All I can say is....don't let the media tell you who is a contender. We are the people that will be doing the voting. Let me decide who is worth my vote.
