That should be your right. However be prepared to wait forever as they won't send you the product until they receive and validate the check. That could add another week or 2 on receiving your purchase.
If you are willing to wait that long then companies should be willing to accept other methods of payment other then credit.10/31/2000 (****)

besides which, 4 pages in...and people still seem to forget he doesn't HAVE to get one! a DEBIT card will work! just needs the visa or MC logo - problem solved! obviously the OP is not 'opposed' to a debit card....so i just don't see the issue here?
are we all too happy/content with all the great happenings and new developments we have to nit-pick a non-issue?*rhetorical question, of course....;)
i find it amusing at best that people are on the INTERNET...want the ease of online ordering and quick shipment, and yet.....'against' using credit/debit cards. besides which, last i checked...a 'check' isn't cash either. impossible to pay online with cash....so check...debit card...credit card....still not cash. you want the ease of online orders? you need to accept non-cash forms of payment. crazy, i know.....Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...

That's a great excuse. I'm going to use it next time I go to a merch Table that says, 'CASH ONLY'... all I have on me are credit cards... I guess you're leaving me with no other choice... Get a credit card. This is the 21st century. Adapt.I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

JOEJOEJOE wrote:Why do so many people equate credit cards with debt?
There is something called self-control. People should be able to curb their spending so that they can pay their creidt card bill each month without incurring any interest charges.
Also, for people who don't believe in credit cards, what would you do if you had some sort of emergency that required a hefty payment to remedy? The Astoria??? Orgazmic!

People who abuse credit or use it incorrectly are the people who get into trouble with it. The same can be said with ANYTHING, cars are great, except for those who use them poorly and get into car accidents and kill people, same for guns etc.
USE CREDIT THE CORRECT WAY AND NOTHING BAD HAPPENS. to all those who use it incorrectly and lose their homes and cars... good for them... stupid people deserve itThe Astoria??? Orgazmic!

so that you can purchase things from websites... otherwise don't adapt and be unable to do/buy things that require some form of credit card. its a simple simple consumer choice.. if you or anyone else dont want one then thats fine.. but dont fucking moan when tenclub only has that as the payment method... as that is the 21st century way... what else do you want retailers to do? barter with goats?oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

there is nothing more simpler than
Q: I cant buy things from the Tenclub website as i need a credit card
A: well either get one and buy stuff or dont get one and shut up... that is their preferred method of payment (and if anyone had a modicum of sense it should be their preferred method of online payment)
course you can moan Helen... its all you do... but it wont get you anywhere... Tenclub have said the new bootlegs are payable using a credit card... either use one or dont buy them... i cant understand the need to moan about that... its their method of payment...oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

Perhaps refrain from stealing!
The inability to convey a payment for something is not a good defense for stealing!
Just funny that he won't get a credit card because he doesn't want to "spend any money but his own" but then has no problem getting music without paying for it... and the will to show I will always be better than before.0
