This thread had really inspired me to get off my butt
and get my posters framed.
Nicer than looking at a bunch of mailing tubes !

Ewww that virgina beach poster is the worst. But a great frame job! Also why did you use a green mat for the coucil bluffs? I love that poster but I dont think it goes well with the green mat I would have just had a white mat for that one! But then again opinions are like assholes.....

I totally agree with you on the boring aspect but with that poster having such bright colors I would've definitely used white or maybe that light blue on her forehead!

I have to agree that sometimes the white matte is not the best choice. I remember the Hamilton poster

Yep, it has to fit with the room to! The NW with white matte and silver frame looks pretty nice to me.....you should post yours with the black one......I have to frame mine soon!

Kitchener - the green is too much, the white is way too much. Perhaps you could try to match the red colour in the boxers. But even that I'm not so sure about.

Hamilton - definitely no white or red mattes. Yellow is the only colour you could use but it does look better as the second matte colour. That really only leaves black as the main matte colour.

One guy posted is London poster and it looked amazing! Black matte with a thin red line! I think the link is still there...and working!

Yeah, it's mine. There are two primary colors on the poster that are easy to match with mattes...just putting one matte on it is silly.
