This show causes one to want to see the next Sunday come about real quick. What makes it worse are the trailers to the next episode.

Love this show, and the books. If you haven't read the books, they are pretty good.

Sexier, tougher, naked-er. That just about sums up the second season of HBO's vampire drama 'True Blood.' (Yeah, this definitely isn't 'Twilight.') Star Anna Paquin loves that "anything is possible" on her show -- even if it involves a lot of nudity.

She talks to AOL TV about filming steamy sex scenes with her on- and off-screen boyfriend Stephen Moyer, that other vampire franchise and whether she'll return to the 'X-Men' movies

*True Blood* star Anna Paquin on Stephen Moyer, Nude Scenes and Dating Vampires

    Straight up she's(((((HOT))))))

Yes most certainly I do the same thing and plus it's a nice warm up to tonight's show. Besides HBO knows which series is HOT right now. Oh Bill's live in redhead is hot too. :)

I have to agree my lady IS a redhead and a natural attraction for me but Sookie gets to be in ALL the hot positions such. Besides Stephen Moyer (Bill) is her boyfriend off screen.

I agree- it has been a solid start to the season. Jessica glamoring the guy was funny as well, and ordering the Straight B+ too.

  • last night's episode was great. but does anyone else think that vampire as a metaphor for gay rights (or any other culture intolerable by bigots) is beginning to become a little too heavy-handed. i enjoy it more when it's more subtle and less in-your-face. for example, when eric held lafayette in the basement, that was supposed to symbolize how gay people deny their homosexuality to the outside world, torture and imprison themselves because of they fear all the hate toward their lifestyle. my point is that i'd rather have to think a little more to get the bigger picture than having it spoon fed to me.

i definitely notice a similarity between vampires and homosexuals. especially with the fellowship of the sun and the radical church groups who are opposed to vampire rights. also, i don't know if anyone else noticed this, but when jason is telling everyone in his bunk that he was promoted as a soldier, one of the men was reading a time magazine with "fang-human marriage." thought that was symbolic too.

on another note, what the fuck is daphne?!
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
