    STOP ENCOURAGING THAT! :o

I'm sure they'll make the next 2 anyway... hopefully with a director that doesnt have his head up his own ass... not that i would see a movie based on a nickelodeon cartoon anyway...

its a principled stance... i promised myself never to line shyamalans pockets after suffering through unbreakable, signs, the village, lady in the water, the happening, WHY IS THIS LIST SO LONG?!? :x

even his masterpiece  the sixth sense was entirely contingent on a pretty lame twist... the dialogue in that aint that great either

i understand that hollywood is full of undeserving twats... but theres no need for one twat to monopolize every twat part in every shite movie

  • watched "She's Out of my League" on sunday.
It was just OK. I was expecting more. However, my movie-going experience might be biased since some asshole brought a 3 year old into a crowded 9:45 rated "R" movie. The kid talked, walked around, skicked seats, cried, yelled, and was very annoying until I saw an open seat a few seats down and moved. Some Fucking parents these days are cluless.

long story short, i'd rather have waited for it on DVD.

I want to have Alice Eve's babies.

  • I watched The latest Alice in Wonderland film and I must say I was bored throughout. Pretty dissapointing really as I quite like Tim Burton, maybe if I had read the books I might have appreciated it more.

Also watched 'Death Proof' on saturday. Absolute shite. 1 hour of the film is just girls chatting shit and then about 20 mins of car chases. Apart from the obvious on screen effects it never really captured that 'grindhouse' genre like 'Planet Terror' did.

Off to see Inception on Thursday at the IMax. Can't wait :D

Its a decent film. Worth a rent at least. Would have liked it to dive deeper into human tracking.

I liked it, thought it had some good action through out. Lets just say he was one pissed off father.
Very terrible how things happen or I should say, how fast they can happen. Just watching this movie, I don't think I would let me teenage daughter to Europe with a friend or by herself. But enjoy the movie if you rent it.

Tom Hanks and Leondardo DiCaprio's "Catch me if you can." We liked it. Yes I'm really behind on the movies. I saw the end on tv in the middle of the night during insomnia and then I checked it out of the library. Now I'm on the waiting list for Shutter Island.

Recently I watched The Wrestler which I thought was going to really good but I was a bit disappointed with it.
Last night watch An Unfinished Life starring Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman. Excellent, boy can those guys act.

Just watched Public Enemy with Johnny Depp on Sunday. Thought it was pretty decent. Never really knew much of John Dillinger, he was quite a guy, very ballsy. Made alot of cash in the day. The FBI really did everything in the power to catch this guy at any costs.

I'd recommend One Week ... young man's road trip across Canada on an old Norton bike ... his internal journey is greater than the geographical journey.
It is very though provoking, bitter sweet,I was biting back the tears

and the scenery is stunning ... It's Canada ... why would it be anything less :D

    Machete was a huge disappointment

  • I went to see Sex and the City 2 at the beginning of the summer and after that I decided to stay away from summer movies. This seemed to be a very weak summer for movies.

Sex and the City 2 was ghastly. It felt like an eternity to watch that movie. And just when you think it couldn't get any worse they broke into a karaoke version of I am Woman. :wtf:

I saw it this weekend. I was kind of bummed that it was not as bloody and as I had hoped. It was fun, but not awesome fun.

Can't wait for "Hobo with a Shotgun" though. THAT looks like what I was hoping Machete was going to be.

I have Capote rented on my itunes but haven't gotten time to see it yet.
