From the trailers, not that I'm a big MMA fan, but the Warrior which comes out in September looks interesting as well.

up in Phoenixville, pa every year for the past 12 or so they have Blobfest. The movie "The Blob" was shot around there and has one particular scene with the local theater called the Colonial Theater. Everyone runs out when the Blob attacks it. They have remakes of everyone running out every year. This year i went down to check it out. Didn't see the running out, but finally saw the movie  It was pretty weird and cool seeing a movie with the theater you are watching it in in the movie.

    The original scene:

I just saw Step Brothers this weekend. I wasnt expecting much the first time I saw it, but I think its a classic. Too funny!

Also watched Lincoln Lawyer. Started out slow, but ended alright. Decent movie.

I want to see Lincoln Lawyer. And I LOVE Step Brothers! When I saw it the first time it was the most hilarious thing I have seen in a long time. It always makes me laugh, it's great. Love, love, love the scene where they show the dad and the people the video on the boat and do that presentation. omg. I also love the scene where they're sitting on the couch and the parents tell them they're selling the house. Too dang funny.

I like those too, and the sleepwalking scenes! I think they had too much fun filming this movie.. It was one of the rare times that I watched all the dvd extras/behind the scenes stuff. Ferrel and Reilly have great chemistry. :D

yeah. They do. I have the DVD but I didn't watch the extras. I should. I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face with them. They have oblivious stupidity down to a tee, and they're so serious when they're doing it. Now I'm replaying that movie in my mind. Good stuff.

    Yep. Loved it.

I have it up there with the first hangover for laughs. The cast is great, funny storyline and not overly immature.

Both my wife and I loved it, and she sometimes says my taste in comedies is "questionable".

Charlie Day steals the show. Jennifer Anniston is great (and hot as hell). Jamie Fox is great as well.

    Go see it!!!

Step brothers is funny up to a point. Then it gets all serious and very unfunny. The last half hour or so just drags on.

I saw it today. Agreed with all your points and I'll throw this out there. It's a twisted version of Office Space with a Hangover bunch of gags. I liked Kevin Spacey's character as well.

Just finished watching "The Company Men". Certainly not an uplifting movie, but very relevant. The acting is excellent. Here is the mantra said throughout ~ "You will win because you have faith, courage, and enthusiasm!"

Just watched a Bollywood movie called Koi ... Mil Gaya ("I found someone") about a boy who is born mentally backwards due to a scientific experiment gone wrong performed by his Mother. He subsequently gets involved in a spat with a motorcycle gang, falls in love with a beautiful woman, beats the motorcycle gang at a game of basketball, and then befriends a little blue alien who gives him super-human powers and enables him to become a fantastic disco dancer.

49-50, after the little blue alien gave the underdogs the ability to fly, so enabling them to make a comeback from 49-0.

'I found out that Hollywood is more crooked, dumber, crueler, stupider than all the books I've read about it. They didn't go deeply enough into how it lacks art, and soul, and heart— how it's really a piece of crap. There are too many hands directing, there're too many fingers in the pot, and they're all kind of ignorant about what they're doing. They're greedy, and they're vicious. So you don't get much of a movie.'

Suckerpunch. Visually entertaining, but crazy CGI and slow motion action sequences aren't anything new these days.

The plot is stupid as hell though.
