Founders Breakfast Stout made its way down here to Florida for the first time on Friday. Such a good beer. Just hoping KBS ends up here as well.

    Good luck with that...

FYI - Founders expanded into the state of Texas earlier the year... they have been supplying plenty of their regular line up, but they have not been giving the market it's fair share of the limited releases...

They sent 4 x 1/6 barrel kegs of KBS to the entire city of Houston (7 million people). 4 fucking pony kegs!!! Literally every bar that got one had it on tap for less than an hour before it was gone... Only 30 cases of KBS made it here.... they sent 20 cases of Mango Magnifico to the entire city as well...

apparently they want more markets, but are pretty much being dicks about their limited releases.

I was at the Destin Beer Fest a couple weekends ago, and go to talking to a Founders rep over his Phish shirt. He hooked me up with some Mango Magnifico since it was a VIP only beer, and I just barely missed out on getting VIP (should have bought my ticket sooner). He told me that they are going to distribute KBS to FL. I doubt it will be much, but he said if any place up in the panhandle is to get any, he said it would be Chans Wine World in Destin (where the beer fest took place).

I'm happy to finally see Founders down here. I was able to grab some KBS last year when I was home in Wisconsin. Hopefully they start to distribute more of their stuff down here soon. The demand is pretty high, (as it was in TX which is why the release of Founders down here was delayed so many times).

I finally got to try CCB Good Gourd the other day. Was able to grab a couple bottles. Amazing pumpkin beer. It passed Punkin as my favorite too.Hopefully they still have 2 bottles on Friday when I go back to the store so I can drink another, and send one off for a trade. My first trade should be here this Saturday. I got some Heady Topper ( :D:D:D along with some Founders Bolt Cutter, Frangelic Mountain Brown, Ghandi Bot, and probably a surprise beer. I cannot wait to finally try some Heady.

Begyle out of Chicago is looking real good lately. Hophazardly is my favorite so far with maybe next summer a close second.

Grabbed a growler of Ommegang's to take the black game of thrones beer today and got this growler to put it in. Only $10 bucks at my growler shop. The same one was 35 bucks at the online store for hbo. Limit one which is too bad i wanted to get one for my brother too.

What did you think of the aged Burton Baton?

I love the beer fresh, however I attempted aging it a little while ago... I have a bottle at ~1 year, and I have to say that I really didn't enjoy it as much as the fresh beer... I still have 2 more bottles aging, but I don't think i'll be putting anymore in the cellar....

have had a lot of other great beer lately... spent almost 3 weeks in California for work and pretty much went buck wild trying everything I could get my hands on.. drank a lot of beers from The Bruery... I actually managed to come back to Texas with 2 bottles of Black Tuesday... can't wait to try that whale...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

... to watch the UFC fights at my brother's place.

It didn't go over very well with the crowd,
but I gotta say I quite enjoyed it.
Quite citrus-y, but all anyone else could say was,
    "All I taste is bitter!"
    Heathens...

    Cheers.

I loved it. Are you sure you have your bottles in the proper light and temperature?

I think aging beer is well worth it as long as the beer is not hoppy- I want those as fresh as possible.

Had a couple of Block 15 Sticky Hands last night, that stuff is good. Also had a pint of Ninkasi's NW Ale, pretty good for a lighter flavorful beer.

Brought home a bottle of Enjoy By 12-13-13, Rogue Brutal IPA and Racer 15 Imperial IPA.

Utter happiness and deliciousness at your house, Horos. Prost! The Racer 15 is so good, makes me wish they'd have it available more. The Enjoy By as always is magnificent.

So good!!! Been picking up a bottle on the way home.

The 12-13-13 seemed a little strong on the alcohol flavor this time. I only had one other batch of the Enjoy By and I'm certainly no connoisseur.
