You had to go all the way to Colorado to get Goose Island when you were just in Chicago a couple of weeks ago?

It is a good beer though

Looking forward to a little sneak peak of Stone 17th Anniversary Götterdämmerung IPA tonight, before general release on Monday!
    9.5% ABV
German hops = a diesel IPA made entirely with pilsner malts. I am hoping for a crisp, bitter and super hoppy IPA.
    Can't wait!

Shared a bottle of Rogues' Voodoo Doughnut with my wife and son last week...

    Chocolate, peanut butter, and banana

Interesting beer. Can't say I need another right away though.

I feel the same way. Interesting, but 6 ounces is more than enough.

After the Bacon/Maple I couldn't bring myself to spend $14 on it.

Picked up a bottle of Russian River Shadow of a Doubt.

    CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH
If you can find it in your neck of the woods, whether it be on draught of 22 oz bomber, do yourself a favor, and try it.
Arguably one of the THE finest most unique IPA's I've ever had.
    Ever.
Different than most IPA's, but a remarkable finish, not sure I've ever had one like this.
Love your thoughts, hopheads and aficionados...wow. Can't wait to have a few more tonight & this weekend.
    PROST!

    Hoptimum by Sierra. My favorite

Summer Solstice by Firestone my favorite summer

Pumpkin head ale by Shipyard. The best pumpkin out there. Imperial makes a great one too.

Hoptical illusion by Magic Hat. Just good clean fun.

Sculpin by Ballast. Phenomenal. Expensive though.

Try them all if u can!

It seems like its getting earlier and earlier right? All the "seasonal" beers come out way early. I asked a few disrtibutors why and they said "the brewers make it and we have to order it, if we don't order it then it will all be sold out and we wouldn't have any".

    Blame the brewers...

Any other GREAT pumpkins out there?

Yeah this really pisses me off. Octoberfest beers are out at the beginning of august now?

Nice haul at the local supermarket last night...

3 bottles of cherries of fire by Karbach (a local brewery making a huge name and following for itself with a bourbon barrel aged porter) - twist to this one is that they added cherries to the barrels. Also a bottle of Double Jack by Firestone walker.... excited to try this one too.

On the docket for tonight though: a Stone RIS 2013 (I tried the espresso RIS last week - what a wallop of espresso! It tasted more like coffee than some of the coffees i drink! quite delicious though... glad I have another on stash).

Try the Rogue Chipolte for a really different experience. I loved it.

The Double Jack was tasty. Try their Solstice summer.

Bourbon barrels are popping up everywhere now it seems too.

Will be crackin' the cork on my bottle of Odells Woodcut #6 over Labor Day with my son and wife... Hoping for the best!!!

I have found a new love with the Mosiac hops. I never could stand to even sip an IPA a year ago, now I'm hooked. The best Mosiac creation I've ever had was a mango/mosiac brewed in Jackson Hole, WY at Thai Me Down.

Any of you hipsters heading to Jackson for a skiing vaca need to stop in and see what he has brewing.
