I'm looking forward to a new treat this weekend...my store (the one 45 minutes away as some of you might recall) is supposed to have growler fills of Lazy Magnolia's Jefferson County Stout brewed with sweet potatoes. It may suck but it'll damn sure be different.
The Pecan was disapointing it was fruity to me not what i was expecting.
I have seen the stout but have shied away based on my first two. Let me know if you like it and don't let my expeirence with the other two be an indicator. Our taste buds are all different
I support Lazy Magnolia as much as possible just because they're from here and i wish more breweries would start popping up. I'm not sure what to expect of the Jefferson County but I've read a few favorable reviews so we'll see. I'll try to remember to share my thoughts on itAll I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

Here are a few of my options for this evening. The top shelf of my beer fridge is dominated by 750ml and 22 oz bottles. The second shelf is high alcohol stuff and local favorites. The lower shelves and doors (unseen) are used mostly for daily drinkers and seasonals.
I may swing by Total Wine to see if they have any SN Ruthless Rye in stock yet.I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.0 -

Anybody heard of this or use it? I just got an invite code this week...the legalities of shipping beer confuse me so I'm not really sure if I can or can't legally participate but it would be a good way to obtain beers I normally couldn't
EDIT: Well I figured out that they cannot ship to me, which is what I figured. All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

Over Christmas I was in Richmond, VA and went to a little bar. Low and behold, what did I see on the beer menu?
Most expensive bottle of beer I have ever been privy to experience. $29.00 clams. I couldn't pull the trigger.
I did find it at a grocery store on my way home for $12.00 and grabbed one up though.0
