    Its kind of comical at this point with Beltran on the DL. I mean, Beltran, Reyes, Delgado, Putz, Maine, and Perez are all on the DL. Its just ridiculous.

    I definitely think its his swing. Cause he's also not hitting homeruns on the road, and he's even hit more at home than on the road.

    I think he's trying to hit for average rather than power, and frankly its working. Although, he should be able to do both. He batted .325 w/30 HRs in '07, so there's no reason he shouldn't be able to still hit at least 25 home runs.

    I just don't get this team. Not complaining about last night's victory, but why can't we get even some of those runs for Johan?

    As a side note, I found my Mets jersey this morning which I haven't been able to find for about 4 or 5 years!

    Same here. His last 4 starts he wasn't spotting his breaking ball pitches and his fastball was down by bout 5 mph. I love how jerry says we need a spark but then last night says oh where fine with the group we have. Totally just lost what little respect of the man that I have. I want him gone along with omar and reyes
