Andy Reid cost you all a chance to win that ugly game tonight. How can you not go for it on 4th down at the end like that?

it was not a pretty game to watch. both teams did not play too well. the refs were awful. the decision to kick that field goal with no timeouts was utterly absurd........if only mcnabb would have snuck out of that shoe string tackle on the play before! doh!

oh well. it's only november. long season still left to be played.

Oh that heal slap was great! That rookie was from Oregon State, never heard his name called before. Thats cool, may be it was divine intervention, lol. God answering a man in Oregon's prayers :D

Things I took away from that game last night:

    1. I've heard Eagles fans talk about it for years, but it was really on display last night for all to see: Andy Reid is a terrible game day coach. Wasted time-out, bad clock management, no sense of urgency, bad challenges, etc. Y'all always give the Cowboys grief over Phillips (deserved mostly) but Reid is never going to win you a Super Bowl. Maybe time for a change there. That decision to go for a field goal with 4 minutes left was stupid. So was the run at the 2:00 minute warning before the half. But when the Eagles kicked that field goal I said "Game over, Cowboys win".
    2. The window is closing rapidly for McNabb. How many passes is he going to bounce off the ground? I think he has always had that tendency but he looks worse now. And watching him get thrown to the ground by Ratliff and Ware all night - he just isn't the same.
    3. May have been a different outcome with Westbrook playing. I've said this for years, but Brian Westbrook is the only Eagles player that has ever scared me as a Cowboys fan.
    4. Refs were just awful last night - bad spots for the Eagles, missed interference call on Samuel in the end zone, phantom interference call on Witten, etc. They disrupted both teams. And I am not just a Cowboys-homer crying foul at the refs. They fuck up almost every game I watch regardless of the teams.
    5. This game didn't feel right without Dawkins, Runyan, Tra Thomas, Buckhalter, LJ Smith, Kevin Curtis, Reggie Brown, etc. All the guys I love to hate. Whether they were out with injuries or on other teams or whatever. I found myself wondering who these guys were last night.
    6. Romo is either very good or very bad against the Eagles. Last night he was just OK and that was good enough because the Dallas defense stepped up. And I can't believe Dallas in first place. I know it is early, but a month ago we were all ready to give up on them.

Well most of us Giants fans are also Yankees fans so maybe not.

I'm 35. Is that a problem my dear? Does a grown man saying "suck on that" put me on a level beneath you or something?

And Jeags knew this was coming. Just like if the Cowboys lose a playoff game, I know it's coming back to me. That's the risk you run when you advertise your allegiance to certain teams. It's the nature of a message board. Alpha males butt heads. Who gives a fuck? Move on.

ummmm, no, actually... i was just trying to figure out what difference a HS or college record standing for 13 years made on your opinion of the game. Perhaps I missed part of the argument, but the comment just sounded like it was a "my-record-is-better-than-your-record-so-there" kinda thing :-)

I agree about the Refs. It has happened in at least half of the games I've seen this year.

I actually think McNabb can win a superbowl for the Eagles. If he was my QB there is no way I'd want to replace him. Remember some people took Troy for granted, until he was gone! A QB that good is hard to come by.

I like Romo's attitude right now, and I think that is the X factor for the Cowboys. He needs to keep approaching the game the way he has lately. Watching him week in and week out, this is the best he's ever played.

The media is being esp hard on Andy Reid today. I guess its deserved, he did make some bad mistakes.

Hobbs out for the season. I don't see this season ending well. We're being pulled thin in a lot of vital areas - linebacker, offensive line, receiver, and now secondary. Not good.

not too confident about todays game...however san diego (drink it in) is not a team of world beaters either. in their 3 game winning streak, they have beaten the chiefs, raiders, and the fraudulent giants. gates will catch balls all day long. but who knows.....if we win, i can easily see us being 8-3 with the bears and skins in the next two weeks.

    go birds.
