These are my three furbabies: Top right is Tabby Lu, she's a Maine Coon, she's 11 years old this month, she's the queen. Under her is Beans, with the mustache, he'll be 1 year old in August, he is a holy terror, lol. Next to him, the Siamese is Eliot Spencer, he'll be 4 in August, and he is a mama's boy, he escorts me to bed every night, he's a big baby. (The blacked out pic is my dog, whom I already posted in the doggie thread....lol)

What a pretty cat. My parents have a Siamese now too. My sister is working as a social worker and a family needed to get rid of her. My parents were without a kitty after their old one, Werner, who was my cat and lived with them since I went to Finland to study wayyyy back, had passed away. They wanted another cat, but were not ready for a kitten. Helga came to them and has been blooming ever since. They are all very happy

My poor kitty had mouth surgery yesterday to remove a mass from her lip/jaw, and is now is a cone of shame with stitches up her jaw, I feel so bad for her....we'll find out in a few days if she has cancer, as they're testing a lymph node, I'm praying it's only inflamed and not cancer....please say a prayer as well, or send positive, healing thoughts her way....

It's funny, because I didn't know what to expect from a Siamese, and he is just the most loving cat, he escorts me to bed every night and goes to be with me, he's a total mama's boy, he loves everyone, my hubby and my daughter as well, but he is very attached to me, if I leave, he'll sit at the front door and howl for like 5 minutes before he gives up....he came to live with us at 4 mos old and has flourished and is so wonderful....his name is Eliot Spencer, named for one of my favorite TV show characters, from a show called Leverage. The name fits him well too.

Stone is on the left/top and Pearl is on the right/bottom. Unfortunately, Pearl has sprained her left shoulder, but is currently resting comfortably after receiving some pain meds from the vet. Her brothers are being very nice and letting her rest. She has no fear, so we think she probably jumped down from some place high.

I am very sorry to hear of the bad news, WhisperinHands :( It is never good to see a furry suffering. when I moved to the States, we got a kitty from a shelter on my first day here. He was 1,5 years old and a gorgeous ginger with medium long hair. One of the most affectionate cats I have ever seen. Unfortunately, he had a heart condition and we had to let him go about two months after we got him. It was heartbreaking. But now we got another cat. She didn't live in perfect conditions and is the happiest kitty on earth now. Make the remaining time you have together the best possible. Try not to be too sad. Hope that she is not suffering too much and make the painful decision when you have to, as hard as it might seem. My thoughts are going out to you.

Aw, I just saw this about your cat whisperinhands. :( I'm so sorry to hear that. Went through the same thing a year and a half ago, and it's really tough. Hang in there, and just try to make the decisions that are best for your kitty's maximum comfort.
