I bought this toy for Tristan shortly before he passed. He didn’t really get to play with it. Lukin dragged it out from somewhere today. He seems to really like it. I think it’s his first time with a catnip toy. They aren’t supposed to have catnip when they are really young so I hadn’t gotten him any yet. Guess I will have to get him more.

Kyra covers her eyes with her paw also (maybe it's a calico thing?)

She’s back in heat. I did make an appointment with my vet to see what they say/think. Maybe they can remove the ovary…

It’s so cute when cats do that. I hope they can figure Kylie’s heat issue out. Aren’t they really noisy when they are in heat?  How are your two cats getting along?

Well like I mentioned before her heat issue is mainly cause they couldn't remove one of her ovaries cause it was attached or too close to her kidney. I had a few people suggest getting a second opinion. So I made an appointment for next Monday the 19th.She's noisy but not really too loud, but loud enough  Plus when she is in heat she "presents" herself with her butt in the air.

Kyra is about the same with her. Still hisses at her if she get too close to her. Sometimes chases her or swats at her but she doesn't try to kill/hurt her luckily.

Adorable. So far, my kitten hasn't shown any interest in boxes. But he recently learned to get himself up on the kitchen counter and now thinks it is the greatest thing ever - like he scaled Mount Everest.

I don’t like cats on the counter, so they both get a spray of water when I catch them. I just have to reach for the sprayer and they shoot off like the hounds of hell are on their tail.  It’s awesome 😎  Unfortunately they have taken over the table as it’s a safe location to get away from the puppy.

took Kylie to the vet to see what they said about her ovary/ going into heat. Unfortunately they said to get an ultrasound (which they don't do). They didn't charge me though for the visit and recommended someone who they trust. So I have to call them and make an appointment.

Ultrasound was expensive. They did a great job diagnosing her though. My vet doesn't do that kind of surgery unfortunately. Good news i talked to the adoption agency and they said they would pay for it (which I know would be very expensive). Just have to find a doctor that would feel comfortable doing the surgery now.

That's great that the adoption agency will cover it. Still though... it's no fun having a sick pet. Good luck w/ the doctor search.

Must rub the belly. I’m glad he doesn’t mind it at all. Daisy does not like her belly touched so I have to get all my belly rubs in with Lukin.

I have these weird shaped plastic cat toys that the cats bat around and whatnot. I had six altogether and now I only can find two.  Where the hell did the others go? I live in a small one bedroom apartment. so they can't be too hidden? I looked everywhere (under the couch, behind the fridge, in the closest) Can't find the missing ones anywhere.

    Dishwasher?  Baseboard?

Your shoes? (no joke... on occasion I find a toy mouse in my shoe... I'm glad they haven't left a real one in there yet).

They are everywhere. Under the couch, under the bed, in my bed, in my shoes. There will be a toy I haven't seen in weeks, and all of a sudden it will be in his mouth. Even if I don't know where they are, he does.

I thought of you last night. I have one of those water fountains for the cat that is 1/2 covered. I went to change the filter last night and when I took the cover off, there was a toy mouse in there. It scared me for a second.
