    No, she is just a crabby old soul. She did spend a number of years around our senior cat Sandy before she passed away, so she probably picked up the vibe from her.

    I hope so. Daisy is really tiny. She is only 6 pounds. Right now he is 1/2 her size so she looks really big next to him. But I expect him to surpass her by March/April or so.

    It’s their favorite spot when they are in for the day Orin enjoying some late afternoon rays! His sister is napping downstairs I haven’t been able to capture both together by tree yet!

    Lukin got some vaccines today. The vet said they could make him tired. He passed out on me. So cute.

    Daisy is doing well now with him. They wrestle a bit. Not snuggling yet. But they lay down next to each other quite.a bit. This weekend will be one month since I got him. So it is still new for her.

    I had a tortie like that when I was in college...named her Pyewacket. She and her sister were dumped at my uncle's place so we took them in.

    Both my uncle and my dad were veterinarians so lots of unwanted animals would get dumped at our places. All of our pets growing up were rejects from somewhere.

    I just got this little cutie today. His name is Lukin. You all are the only ones I don’t have to explain the name to. He is 2.5 months old. He is a mini-me of Daisy. Little Siamese kitten. He was born on the streets of Texas and his entire litter was attacked by a dog. He was the only survivor. Poor baby. Now he is living in NYC. What a journey for such a small guy. Daisy is ok with him so far. They were lying on the bed together. No snuggling yet but also no hissing or swiping. I think they will become good friends very soon. He is super playful and active. So lots of fun. 

    aww he's adorable, great name too. That's good that Daisy is kinda warming up to him pretty quickly.

    I might get another cat after the holidays (still thinking about it). Not sure how Kyra would feel about another one though. Times like these I wish I could read their minds or be like a "cat whisperer".
    If you get another cat get a male cat that is younger and smaller than Kyra. I have always been told that opposite sex cats get along better. And if he is smaller and younger than Kyra she shouldn’t see him as a threat. 

    good point/ Never had a male cat before though. Had 2 calico's, one grey tabby and i guess Kia was considered a tabico. Thanks for the advice :smile:

    not sure on a name yet. Her foster parents named her Bobbie, but i'm not feeling that at all. My other calico's were Kali, Kyra and Kia so I'm thinking of something that starts with a "K", Maybe something like Kierra, Kaylee, or Kaitlyn? Kyra knew something was up the day before I got her. she was acting a little different than normal. Right now the kitten is in the bathroom so they can get used to each other. Kyra's been hissing but nothing too bad. They know each other is around. 

    The kitten is used to other cats so that is good. She's very young and tiny (like 6 months old). Which I didn't even realize how small she was until I got her home. She is technically spayed. The vet couldn't remove her ovary cause it was too close to her kidney. She can't get pregnant but she can go into heat.

    Congrats Dave. Kittens are fun. Lukin is 3.5 months now. He’s a wild man. My apartment wasn’t conducive to separating them so I just threw them together. Hopefully, yours will integrate and become friends quickly.
