At risk of sounding like an up-tight bore... I'm not happy with that... that kitty doesn't look happy :(
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Aww, Lizard, your kitties are growing up all gorgeous. :)

For a mainly chicken drawing guy, Doug Savage is pretty good at capturing the essence of kitty behaviour. :lol:http://www.savagechickens.com/2010/09/c ... res-2.html

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Rita - In response to your last post on the last board, alas no, we won't be taking my cats or Dave's cat when we move. Dave's cat lives with his Mum in Lincoln and my two darlings are living with my ex and his family. They're all happy where they are and I wouldn't want to upset my ex's children by taking their kitties away.
We're making an appointment to go to our local Cats Protection League adoption centre on my birthday to look at adopting a pair of kitties to call our own :D

Actually, on that note... The Cats Protection League, at the moment, have lots of FIV kitties needing homes in the UK. FIV is the feline equivalent to aids but isn't dangerous to humans. The kitties live long happy lives and don't normally need much extra care... they just can't go out. FIV is passed from cat to cat in breeding, fighting etc so to keep it contained, FIV cats need to be kept inside.

If you're a PJ fan, reading this and living in the UK, please consider it. The Cats Protection League have lots of these beautiful pusscats at the moment as they often get over looked. My parents had two FIV cats for years and they were both really loving and happy. Please, if you live in a flat or aren't so keen on the idea of letting your cats out, consider an FIV cat.

Dave and myself considered it but in the new house we have two big patio doors and a back door with a large, cat friendly back garden... it wouldn't be fair. We are however, planning on taking on a pair of cats. This is another problem for the Cats Protection League as again, people don't feel they can take on two cats and don't want to split siblings up.

If you are looking at getting a new cat, please consider these two options. There are lots of kitties across the country (and world infact!) that need new homes and a second chance.
I've got a full blodded Maine Coon available to adopt, he's declawed and nuetered and current on all shots..

And here's to the kitties.. My kitties are the poop.. I love them, and love that they sleep on me.. lmao My distemperfried kitty Tommy greets my car although he thinks it really wierd now that the wolf-dogs have passed on he's all alone when he greets me..But he's a living miracle really he's that one silly cat that even though he got his shots, he STILL managed to contract Distemper and now he's what they call Shadow Blind .. which is where he can only see shapes and movement no definition or color anymore. Poor kitty you move things in the house and he freaks for days.

    From a Cat's Daily Diary...

    img1.jpg

    Day 983 of my captivity.
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards.
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now................

My kitty really doesn't want me to clip her claws today. Which is a shame as I need to take her to her Christmas holiday destination. Don't want her to tear things or people apart. :P Though she's not that into destruction anyway.

I'm gonna miss my lil' Nauhuri. :( But it's only a few weeks and she'll be with people she's seen before (my sisters). :) The first couple of days (including today) will be pretty exciting, as first she's staying with my younger-younger sister and she also has a kitty. Since I adopted Nauhuri, she hasn't been with other kitties. If they absolutely don't get along, though, lil' Nauhuri can stay at my older-younger sister's place with someone checking on her, until my sis gets home.

^^^ Video link works now thank you :D Very cute, it's amasing what cats find amusing  ;):D

Frank wasn't pissed, just hungry ;) He was demanding food, but I made him pose for a picture first  The other kitty is still a little skittish. I don't think she's too keen on my dog Nikita. She's slowly coming to the realisation that Nik wouldn't hurt her; just sniff her butt a lot :? :D
