    The struggle is real

We shall fight by water, land, air, and in the fields.
    We will never surrender.

    Or something like that.

Haven't seen these 2 angels in 2 weeks. Good chance I will never see them again.
And it is tearing me apart.

So, their owners brought them inside a couple weeks ago. Those cats had basically spent 6 weeks living on my front porch. Sleeping under my bushes. The owner and I talk every other day and he was absolutely fine with the whole situation. But as the temps started rising here he decided to bring them inside.

He knows we leave in a week, and a couple days ago I let him know I probably shouldn't see them before I leave. All I would do is cry and sob. So its best for them to stay inside for a while.

For 2 years those adorable cats and I had a special little relationship. Boots and Tigger were loyal little friends. Unconditional love.

    Damn I'm gonna miss them.

My realtor made me FUCKING CRAZY THE LAST MONTH.

First off he was an "EXPERT" in home renovations. In reality, he doesn't know shit. If he had knowledge, I wouldn't be dissing him. But he doesn't know shit.
Secondly, he kept bitching about the cats. Until I literally told him, Ill get rid of you before I get rid if the cats.

Dumb question....would the owner let you two permanently adopt the cats?

    I cant do 4 cats.
Actually I take that back. I WOULD LOVE to take Boots and Tigger with me. But where we are moving to doesnt allow 4 cats.

I would be beyond thrilled to have those little ones join the family. But it is not possible.

Sweet Lou Friday update!  He is getting along with the older cat, Ouija finally.  Ouija was a little jealous at first.

So yesterday I lost my sweet Daisy. She was only 8 years old. She had IBD for the past 3 years and was doing well on steroids. But recently she started losing a lot of weight even though she was eating. We did all the tests and they all came back negative. The vet thinks that her IBD progressed to lymphoma. I tried everything. We even switched her medication. But nothing worked. She deteriorated really fast over the last two weeks and yesterday I knew it was time. I didn’t want her to suffer. I am so devastated. She was the sweetest, most affectionate cat. I am going to miss her greeting me at the door and sleeping next to me in bed. Lukin is being really sweet, but it is still so hard. I’m just glad she is not suffering anymore.
