Having grown up with outdoor cats I will never not feel that indoor cats is somehow animal abuse. And taking her out a bit in a leash feels so wrong. But yeah, she enjoyed eating some grass and looking at birds.
Would be nice moving somewhere where I could just let her out. One day.
Grow some kitty grass in the house and let them chew on it there.

One of my cats goes nuts when I bring home a cat grass plant from the pet store. Might as well be a pot plant - the way he reacts to it.

I grow it for them and the cats go nuts for it too. Damn bastards want to start eating it before the grass even gets tall enough though...
Ours love catnip but I wouldn’t trust their curiosity around precious pot plants!
My former cat, Nico loved catnip. She would roll all over the floor in pure ecstasy. My two cats now could take it or leave it. They like to chew the toys - but don't get nearly the reaction. I heard it was a genetic thing, but not sure. I had a cat many years ago that would love the smell of mint (related to the catnip family). Whenever I would brush my teeth or have a mint she would practically stick her nose in my mouth.

We dropped an olive on the floor and Zappa cat was going nuts about it. Rolling around on it, just having a really good time.
I’ve heard about the ‘nip/genetic thing and believe in it. Beans will rub on the plastic bag of it, but George will flat out succumb to it in any form. It’s like watching the feline version of Elaine dancing.

Nah, this is the opposite of common sense. Stripping an animal of it's natural life because "it lives longer" doesn't fly.
But no discussion worthy to have on that subject.
Wish I could have Maroosha running wild and free. Maybe one day.
Disagree.
Not worthy to you? Doesn’t matter to me. I feel it was.
Is it worthy to you to have a discussion, bring it on. We can have it ofc.
I thought this thread was for cute pictures.
My response was regarding your common sense comment. No need to take it further. Fuck knows I have a soft spot for felines and canines alike.
I have a soft spot for your softspot.
All canines and felines must be loved dammit!!!
Speaking of which we have a very dog friendly community here. For whatever reason there are some quadrupeds that can't seem to get enough rubs from this guy(two thumbs pointing inwards). I feel like I am the dog whisperer, lol.
I have not been as friendly the last few weeks though as you can possibly cross contaminate through the dogs so pettin' and rubs have been off limits as of late...

Look up olives and cats and there it is. It reminds them of Catnip!

Anyway, they’re happy and well-loved.

And, I believe I have made my stance quite clear regarding Groucho.
No lobster for me, but that plate is great!
