Ha. On an unrelated note, I wasn't even paying attention today - things got fucked up for Canada as well?

Speaking of which - well, he's at second now - is it me or does Martinez not seem that fast? At least not as fast as he should be.

yeah, he shouldn't be on this team.

I haven't seen him enough yet obviously, but I am not sold on brown ever hitting at this level. his swing looks so stiff. and I hate how he holds his hands up then moves then down. seems like a lot of wasted motion to me.

martinez, brown, valdez, mayberry. hopefully raj has some shit in the works soon

Yeah, I'm out on Brown as of now. I would like to see him fail, and fail, and fail, and fail at this level first before I write him off. Just sucks that they can't afford to let him fail.

Craziness. I guess I'll go to Wisco on a whim. Ahhhh fucking Wisconsin...seriously, I think the Folk Fest is going to be better than this.

Speaking of which, if none of you have ever been, just got my all weekend/tent pass for Folk Fest. Highly underrated. Check it out.

I had no intentions on trying for alpine. What a horrible choice.

Not sure if you're serious or not about wisc. Anyway, cabin is booked. You know the details. You'd be number 8.

And I figured out a way to get some stuff to smoke

    "Hello Christopher,

    Thanks for your email.

We had not gotten that log in issue with the sale. Not sure why that happened to you.

We apologize for the inconvenience & we understand your frustration all the way around...

Unfortunately The Ten Club presales are sold out.

Wish we had other option, but Tickets will be on sale on June 4th at 10am CDT

    Best Regards,
    10c"

And another condescending email that said that they didn't have enough tickets to meet demand. Really? No shit. I had no idea.

At least they personally got back to me at least.

PP - it's the Philly Folk Fest. It's on a farm right off the Perkiomen Trail in Shwenksville. http://www.pfs.org/folk-festival

It's a great time, even if you don't know the musicians. The camping scene - and I'm not much of a camper - is a great time.

Fixer - like I said, as long as I can get in to the shows, I'm in - the bus, the cabin, the smoke, etc. Word, word, and word.

Alpine is gonna be a kluster..not sure where you would be staying but a shuttle back and forth

Yeah, you can bring PLENTY of beer into the camping grounds as well. People who run the event are totally chill.

Fixer hooked up a bus apparently to go back and forth from a cabin for cheap - driver cooks food and everything. By the way, Fixer, I think a keg would be a good idea.

I think we have stuff worked out pretty well. No driving and affordable.

Not really a shuttle. More like a drunken tailgate with a maid/designated driver. Entire trip (tix, flights, cabin, shuttle) should be $800 a dude. Not bad at all.

We have cabin thurs-mon and it's on a lake and has bars within walking distance.

We will have both Tailgate Buses going to the concert from several different hotels / resorts and spending the whole day. There are only 40 seats available on each bus (two buses available) and we WILL sell out so buy your tickets early! You will get round trip transportation from one of 6 pick-up locations TBD and we will set up the grill and cook burgers, brats, and dogs with cole slaw and chips available. You just need to bring your own beverages and snacks or desserts. Pick-ups will be between 9:30 - 10:30 am getting to Alpine Valley depending upon traffic around 11:00 am. We will stay all day so you can go into the concert at whatever time you decide and we won't leave until all 40 passengers are back or Midnight, whichever come first. Tickets are non refundable and are on a first come first serve basis. Please remember to tip the drivers as they will be there the whole day watching your stuff on the bus and doing the cooking and cleaning while you enjoy your day!
