I'd guess this team will barely play above .500 in September with all the rescheduled games and 6-man rotation. Hopefully they can regroup and get on a roll in October.

last year i felt like they clinched so early that they lost momentum heading in...hope that doesnt happen again. we all know how they can all go into slumps at the same time at the drop of a hat...

i know Fixer loves to rant about overuse of Stutes but below article from todays Inquirer would suggest he is wrong. Lot less innings this year than last year for Stutes. Sure there will be some kind of spin...

Yeah, I looked on BR to see if that was true and it is. I know I read a few times that he had already thrown more innings this year than he had before in a season, but I guess that was wrong. The misuse of him this year has still been outrageous.

Next week this time the Fixer will be at the airport getting ready to head to wisconsin

This hurricane stuff is getting crazy. There are some seeds on the weather channel...gonna have to watch this more often

The confirmation email last night got me pretty pumped. Going to be one hell of a weekend.

indeed. 4 days of debachery. my liver is already complaining

i do think the offense could pose problems in the playoffs ... especially against red sox/yanks ...

I'm more worried about the Brewers' and Braves' pitching (and Giants if they make it, obviously). Yanks & Sox lineups are very scary, but I'm not worried about their pitching. Phils usually hit CC pretty well, and have a history with Beckett.

the braves are tailor made to beat the phils in a playoff series. not saying they're a better team, just that they match up reallllllllyyyy well vs the phils.

I want no part of them

Always seemed like there was a reason the Roxx wanted to get rid of him.

yeah, he has been pretty shitty for cleveland. so I guess you could say the trade already looks dumb.

not everyone can make beast trades like RAJ

would you guys sign joe beimel? he's in the minors right now so it wouldn't cost anything to pick him up. I think he blows, but they could use another lefty in the pen

at least they were raising money for kids (and that doesn't even show the purple jacket comcast showed hamels wearing) . they could have been in a casino gambling or breaking up with another smokin hot model like the yankee frauds :D

Yes, because there is something wrong with enjoying gambling and smoking hot models? I think you made my point for me.
