Giddier than a fucking school girl. UNbelievable. Took a 38 million paycut to be where he wanted. Just fucking love it.

And R2C2 is gay, Im sorry. Saw Marshall Harris try nd start that on CSN. And anything Urkel starts I can't be a fan of.

Just call them the Muhammed Ali equivalent of a pitching staff. Hit ya with the right then the left then the right then the left. This is crazy.

'Scuse me - turned down an extra 28 million. Gotta love it. Well, maybe not you exactly.

All I know is expectations are officially at astronomical levels.

I don't mind. I wasn't on the Lee bandwagon. It would've been nice. But not for 6 or 7 years.

Congrats to the Phillies and their fans.

It sucks, but that deal they published today was a little much for my liking. 6 or 7 years for $160 million. I am kind of glad he didn't take it. And to leave that much money on the table, he must have really wanted to go there.

And at least he isn't a Yankee. So there is that. :)

They said Rangers fans might actually be a little bit relieved....

Did the Yankees ever NOT get someone they wanted?

    I am still in shock....

Yeah, disappointed, but relieved if you can be both. Like a break-up. Sad, but time to move on. :D

Actually, I wish we had known about that Phillies offer. Its just so weird to turn down that much money. And weird for them to keep it quiet and let the other two teams duke it out. Why didn't they just sign it a few days ago? At least no one can say it was all about the money.

This also makes me happy because ESPN and the others have egg on their face. They swore for months that he was going to be a Yankee.
