alicia layne is batshit crazy although i think 99% of television news anchors are like that.

you could make the argument it's been Hamels #1 this year and Halladay #2. Hamels has been fn awesome since the 1st start other than i think one game where he gave up some home runs. even his curveball which used to be dreadful has become a weapon.

yeah that one got ugly. good times.

no disrespect to hamels, but talk to me when he throws 230 innings in a season.

there's only one doc. as great as hamels is, he's still not close to the throne

hamels rarely throws his curveball. the cutter has made a world of difference for him

agree on the 230 innings and to have follow up seasons like Halladay has done. i just mean so far this year you can make a good case that Hamels has been better than Halladay - so far being the key words there (just so you don't use these words against me in a few weeks/months by twisting what i am saying here). :D

he did throw the curve on a few key pitches in the 8th last night though.

love that he's got that kind of confidence in that pitch.

As a Blue Jay fan, just want to say your welcome on the Doc. we miss him here but Drebek is looking good too just not the last 2 starts. I think that trade was great for both teams.

gose and d'arnaud are tearing up the minor leagues too. hate to say it, but if they phils dont win a WS with halladay, this trade could turn out as a win for the jays

They need to change the hr rule out there. Put a yellow stripe at the top of the geen wall. That little fence is not a good hr line.

yellow line should be on the top of the fence. but never understand why the yellow line went away at most parks anyway. that should be a rule...
