Pence isn't going anywhere. Not with the new ownership unless its for a fucking truck load.

there's always the ed wade factor. he loves middle relievers. stutes, zagurski, and defratus could be enough :D

howard didn't look good getting down the line there. definitely give him the day off for day game tomorrow vs the lefty

I just don't think Ed Wade has any power anymore. I read an article a coule weeks ago that said he is out the door as soon as the new owners get in there.

cool avatar. Funny, I was thinking about the Who today.

If you were an MLB player, what would your AB music be? I was thinking Eminence Front. I think that would be bad ass. the part when the drums first kick in

good choice. mine would be the intro to baba o'riley and i wouldn't step into the batters box till rogers voice kicked in. sucks bout the phils being thin at catcher. i'd have no problem if sandy traded beltran to the phils

Aren't they bringing up one of their top pitching prospects? Trying to show a promising product I guess?

Not sure. Didn't catch that. I just don't think they trade the best young player unless it's for something really legit. Especially with him being under control for one more year (at least?). New owners are certainly going to want to make a splash and show a committment to the team and you don't do that by trading the best player.

beltran for his salary and your best catching prospect :P

I hate to say it but I just don't see the Mets getting much more than the Yankees gave up for Berkman last year. I guess it's all dependent on how much money they are will to kick in.

Maybe a change will do him well, he never lived up to the hype but is a hell of an athlete. He was can't miss.

mets might have to give him away because they have no money.

I was kidding about wade. nothing he does will surprise me...but I agree that the new owners prob won't be looking to dump any MLB talent

Brown swinging well right now. More of that please

Oh, no doubt the Mets are going to move him but I just don't see them getting all that much for him. Certainly no top catching prospect.

Gotcha, yeah, I hear you. He's a numbnut.

Just saw that shot. He's done well since coming up from looking at his stats.

    I'll take my chances.

    Cliff Lee: 3.94 and 1.26.

I am going to ride this out as long as it lasts, even if it's just until July 1st.

Bad night for Clifton. He's been rather average this year. It's a long season though.

An average Lee still wins more games for this team than not. Same goes for the other three. Pretty crazy. And not to mention that string of games where Clifton didn't get any run support at all.. All that matters is those starts in the playoffs.

All true. But his stats have been typical of an average major league pitcher this year, so far. I am not really that worried though - he will be on his game in October.
