i said NOT BAD - do you guys understand english? jeezus h. christ i didn't say the guy was ryan fucking howard or even jimmy fucking rollins. i said NOT BAD. if .260 sucks and replacement level then 90% of major leaguers suck according to you guys. my god.....

Maybe the reason you like Ryan Howard so much is because you have low expectations. Morgan Ensberg hit .263 for his career for fucks sake.

    HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I am aware of who you are talking about, point was if you think .260 is not bad, you have pretty low expectations of a hitter.

let me define it for you in easy to understand numbers. love to see you and the fixer's definitions. feel free to explain anytime.

when using JUST a batting average here are my definitions of how a career breaks out.

.330 and up - once in a lifetime hall of fame level - as good as any out there
.300 - .329 - great hitter- for sure hall of famer
.275 - .299 - damn good to great major leaguer
    .250 - .274 - "not bad", solid major leaguer
.226 - .249 - below average middle infielder backup type
.225 and below - terrible, border line major league/minor league player

whatever his career average is, it's gotta be close to 300. Either way, calling him a 'damn good to great player' is awful too.

For the 10th time i said Zach Duke would be a good pitcher on a good team. Never said anything else besides he imo could be a good 3 or solid 4 here.

$2k? How you planning in doing it up? Driving/rv is enticing but I don't know if I have the time off work or am interested in doing it hungover on the way back, I will be there no doubt though.

I really want to go to this. A buddy brought up the RV thing, but I'd much rather be in a hotel with bars/restaurants/air conditioning/cable tv. No desire whatsoever to go camping.

Only been to wisconsin once (long weekend for an Eagles game). Lambeau was incredible, but wisconsin sucked (did a night in milwaukee, then 2 in Green Bay). So, I'm not thrilled with the venue selection. Doesn't seem like there are any hotels near alpine valley. Plenty of motels, which might be worse than camping. I'm 50/50 at this point.

I agree...absolutely horrible decision to go to Wisconsin

Call me spoiled but I want a hotel as well and not picking cow shit out of the treads on my sneakers

Closest hotel looks like it is about 3 miles away and is mostly booked up. What about flying out, renting an RV in Wisconsin, returning it and flying back.

Chances are I will be there, just have to figure out accomodations.

I enjoy camping but not sure I could do it for a festival. When I did ACL a couple years ago, I was so happy to have a bed to come back to.

I can't stand romero. he's always all over the place. falling behind 90% of hitters he faces

the only thing about that is then you have to buy all of your supplies (coolers, blankets, pillows, etc) out there. I think you'd end up wasting a lot of money.

no public transportation and limited to no hotel options makes it tough
