haha...that's a great call. he will use the word 'goofy'

I can't stand romero. he's always all over the place. falling behind 90% of hitters he faces

He is so bad and repeats like my old grand father

the best with romero is the balloon pitch down the middle and he reacts in shock when its pounded

Closest hotel looks like it is about 3 miles away and is mostly booked up. What about flying out, renting an RV in Wisconsin, returning it and flying back.

Chances are I will be there, just have to figure out accomodations.

the only thing about that is then you have to buy all of your supplies (coolers, blankets, pillows, etc) out there. I think you'd end up wasting a lot of money.

no public transportation and limited to no hotel options makes it tough

Yeah, thats true, but you can get by with cheap shit I am sure. Just a thought.

Yeah, I remember reading about a campsite, which would be last case scenario that has transportation.

You can check your bags and bring a bunch of shit, not like you need a lot of clothes and all. RV won't be cheap but you wont be paying too much for mileage. I don't know. Seems like a decent option and RVs are always a blast.

Very true man, gotta try to make it happen with the little one on the way, should be a good weekend. Are we confident there will be other bands involved or is this going to be a 3 night show thing? Seems like strange venue for a full blown festival.

your guess is as good as mine.

I wonder if there are any cabins or houses to rent in that area. Maybe there is hunting near there

No need to be nice - he (and Sammy) got lucky.

But he did get on base and in scoring position (a little help from the D, or a lot of help).

ha. I just saw the replay. He was out with a decent throw.

    oh well. I tried

Haven't mentioned Sammy much this year. that's a good thing for a 3B coach. who was their coach back in 05-06 that got someone thrown out at home once a week? dale sveum? steve smith? I forget

Yooooo. Cruise American RVs are much less expensive in middle America than they are on the east cost. A 5 person RV for $476 plus mileage. The same as a hotel. This may be a plan.

Best thing about Valdez leading off an inning is... no double play.

I couldn't find an address for any of them. most say minutes from alpine valley.

I'd rather do this than an RV. Prices are more than reasonable.

Flight (shitty departure time), RV and tickets (estimated) are looking like around $600 a person. Thats a fucking steal.

Yeah, that is a great idea. All on a lake too which is pretty sweet. Just want to avoid driving after.

Maybe try to make a deal with a local cab driver to drop us off and pick us up.

Well, Wisconsin has some of the country's most lax DUI laws, so that's something.

Yeah, that would be a somewhat different story.

If the Phils got there deserved loss in that game there would be a PUI (posting under...) here tonight from me.
