Okay boss, sorry..and btw, the comment is more relevant in this thread as the Pedro pitching at Citi Field scenario was brought up here..anyway, fuck off ;) ..
man why the hostility? I didn't tell you to fuck off or get out - i asked you nicely to keep the Phillies thread about the Phillies. Is that so hard for your NY mind to comprehend?
It is relevant to the Phillies as Pedro is now pitching for you guys. And yeah, you did tell me to fuck off but used different words, and it's not the first time, boss. And let's get real, you were being condescending, not nice ;) ..
well I wasn't wrong about the topic though - please keep your comments about your loser team in your own thread. We no longer care about the 4th place Mets - they suck and they are non-entities to us. We are too busy working on our 3rd consecutive division title and defending our World Series Championship.

by the way did you hear the one about David Wright - they had to feed him intraveniously in the hospital after his concussion so he wouldn't CHOKE.

First, you were wrong as it pertained to the Phillies/Mets series this weekend. Sorry you can't see that. Nothing more annoying than a self appointed board Mod. We were having a peaceful discussion without disrupting anyone or your precious little thread. No need for you to tell us to take the convo elsewhere..

And the last comment about Wright really speaks volumes of the type of person you are..

    and crack you up
so you can put a blue ribbon on my brain

how does complaining about the Mets being injured pertain to the Phillies? come on you've been droning on for pages about the Mets injuries on this Phillies thread. There are almolst as many comments from you on the Mets as Phillies on here in the last 3 pages. Again I guess it's too hard for your NY brain to comprehend that this thread is supposed to be about the Phillies.

laughter is the best medicine but I guess making a joke makes me a horrible person - nice. I think if anyone wanted to judge me vs. you they can compare our posts throughout the pages here and on the threads about the Philly shows and come to the conclusion about types of people we are.

Okay, you win..I can no longer take seriously the comments of some guy telling me repeatedly that I fail to comprehend things when he can't even use a simple quote function appropriately..

I lied, I can't resist. It pertains to the Phillies because the Mets AA team is going to get swept by the Phills this weekend. It's not one or two Met players will be out for the series, but the entire team ;) ..can't wait for you to gloat come Monday...and my NYC brain comprehends just fine, thank you..and don't backpedal, it is a great joke..

it isn't my fault it won't let me put more than 3 quotes in a post so i have to delete what i can. if you can enlighten me with how I am supposed to do that I would be greatly appreciative. If you are not too busy sulking about 3 years in a row the Phillies smacking your losers down. I see you are Jets fan too - ouch.

You've been commenting on your injuries for 3 pages and 2 weeks - I guess they are all in response to this next series though. And I will gloat - regardless of who is playing for you it is about winning still. excuses are for losers.

at least our last page or so has kept me from having to sit at work doing nothing so not all is lost.

Back on topic - Happ was great last night. Very impressive. Lowest batting average against with runners in the scoring position in the majors. He is so calm out there.

I understand, but at what point does it become legitimate and not an excuse? Maybe when Castillo (worst Met coming into the season) is the only starter left standing? You let me know...you can't blame me for being defensive..

actually it is quite legitimate for the Mets this year - honestly I've never seen a team have every key position player hurt like this. As much as I hate them and am glad they are struggling it really is unbelievable. It pretty much has given the Phils the division without having too many worries - the Braves and Marlins just aren't good enough to pass the Phils in my opinion. The Mets healthy would have challenged for sure. and it was a joke about Wright. As much as I dislike that team concussions aren't anything to laugh about. Here in Philly you read stories about Lindros and Keith Premieu and their concussions and it's scary stuff. At least they are being cautious and holding him out for 2 weeks. So bring on your AA team for us - we can use an easy weekend.

Even Santana will miss the series, so it should be rather easy for the Phills..

Edit: And one last thing..it's funny because the statement you quoted and wanted me to take elsewhere was actually going to be my last comment in here..just couldn't believe that I actually called it that Wright will be out for the Philly series with a career ending injury..this is as close as it gets to career ending....and that this was the final straw.. and I hope to rekindle the rivalry next year on a more level playing field..later..

I know he's always been a better first-half player, but there's something that's definitely starting to bother me - Raul Ibanez. Either he's still injured, or, in my opinion, he's looking just flat out old. At the plate he just doesn't look the same - behind on fastballs, swinging in the dirt. He just doesn't look as loose at the dish as he did earlier on. His fielding has been questionable lately as well. I'm not looking for Superman here like we had in the first half of the season, but hopefully he can turn it on again. Going from hitting .340 to .289 is a drastic drop off. All I hope is he regains some piece of the 1st half form in September into October.

Anyone notice, no more World Series patches on the Phils uniforms????

Nice gesture that last year is over and this year is all that matters.

I think it must be the groin still bothering him. It's like he doesn't even hit the ball hard anymore. It's all been since his injury. One concern is since May his hitting with runners in scoring position is under .200 - not good. I would suspect he will come back to somewhere between how bad he is now and how good he was in the beginning as long as he can stay and/or get healthy.

Could you guys please stop referring to this mess as the Mets..imagine all of a sudden waking up tomorrow without Utley, Howard, Rollins, Werth, Victorino, Ibanez and their immediate back-ups..this would almost be the equivalent of the team you fighting Phills so proudly beat up on..actually Friday you lost, and Sunday barely survived due to some freak play that prior has only occurred once in history to end a game, way back in 1927. In the meantime, Francoeur got injured for the first time in his baseball career and Santana is out for the season....please explain how all this could occur to a team in one season? Please, won't someone..please..

stop please - you couldn't beat us 2 years in a row with all your players. why does it matter? at least now it is August you know you are done. At least you don't have to think you have a chance and get crushed in the end. Would it make you feel better to watch Reyes laugh it up as you are choking again? We've beaten you 2 years in a row with a lesser team - we are even better this year. You weren't beating us anyway.

Actually, I'm not sure about 2007 but last year the Mets beat the Phillies head to head, even without a bullpen. They chocked it away to other shitty teams, opening the door for the Phills..anyway, good luck rest of the way guys..
