I know. Granted, even I freaked after that game on Tuesday, but Lidge has only blown one save since coming off the DL and is 8 out of 9. I'll take around those numbers. Hamels is who reeeally worries me. Not saying Lidge does not, but Colbert is the real issue here. He needs to start throwing his curve more, or at least some other 3rd pitch, because he's not locating well at all.

There's no way charlie will demote him now. I think it will take another 2-4 blown saves before he really considers it. And if he did demote him madson looked like dog shit in that role when lidge was on the dl. So who would close??? I sure myers name will come up but thats not gonna happen.
