It's hard to describe it tho. The plot doesn't sound like much of a story. The portrayals are good, especially the 2 boys.

What a weird movie. Just Fluff, like watchin an MTV Video on acid. James Franco was pretty good, though there is one disturbing scene involving him and a silencer  Gross

This movie went no where for me...just strange

and what the fuck has Harmony Korine or whatever his fuckin name is done to warrant all his indie cred or whatever the buzz around him is? I know he was a writer on Kids whih was another crazy, yet somewhat enjoyable movie.

This movie was a mindfuck for me.

BTW Dont bring kids to this one, some lady in the theatre brought a bunch of kids there, probably cause Selena Gomez or something. They stayed the whole time as I left I looked at this Mother type like she was nuts  She has alot of explaining to do at home
Oh my god! She brought her kids???? :o
Watched this tonight, what a load of shit!
If James Franco whispered "Sprrrring Brrrreak" one more time I swear I was going to lose it! WE GET THE PICTURE JAMES! ITS SPRING BLOODY BREAK!!!

I'm on the fence with this one. Definitely different and Matthew McConaughey plays a great creepshow of a character. It's worth a watch.

It wasn't all that bad, just kind of a silly story. Pretty good acting by the two young kids though. Worth a watch I guess. I was just being harsh

Well, the circumstances were a bit far-fetched but kids meeting up with an adult who tells a lot of tall tales didn't seem all that unusual. I can believe kids being taken in by that. Also thought it was a very good picture of small town life.

OK, good not great. My biggest complaint would be the ending. Matthew McConaughey was scarey creepy.

The movie felt like Texas except for all the rain.

The Hangover 3 - liked it a lot more than the 2nd one. Good laughs.

Now You See Me - really liked this one a lot. Dunno why it tanked. Very surprised to see how much of that they filmed in queens. It felt kinda weird to see something that actually happened IRL not long ago in the film. But the film def came out first. Also, extra confused about the state of 5 Pointz after watching. No spoilers, but 5 Pointz has been on the brink of closing for a while now, and recently it seems like they gave up trying to save the place. They kicked out the artists because the building was deemed unsafe a couple years ago or so and yet in this film there's about a million people on the roofs. Unless it was cgi. Just weird, but a good movie.

Why you said it tanked? I think it made good money and they will film a sequel.

It's easy to feel sympathy for the movie as there's some -take from rich and give out to the poor- Robin Hood sentiment to it.

Watching Woody Harrelson is always a treat.

I never heard much about it while it was in theatres so I figured it tanked. If they do make a sequel they have a lot of different angles they could do it from so hopefully it will be good.

It's worth watching, I'd recommend it. I tend to enjoy movies with an original concept, or at least one I haven't seen before. This is nothing at all like The Prestige, aside from both having Michael Caine in it.

Every single time I see the name of this movie I think it's gonna be about Douglas Adams and/or the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.
