The purge. A bit predictable, but not bad.

The Perks of Being A Wallflower. It was good. Not great, but good.

The Great Gatsby. I really don't understand what everyone was complaining about I liked it. The audio was a bit annoying and I'm not sure if that was them trying to do 'authentic' 1920s voices or if it was just my copy but I had to have the volume all the way up and still couldn't understand all the dialogue. Got deafened by the music though.

Can someone tell me why Spiderman was narrating the whole thing to what I assume was a shrink? I'm too lazy to go looking for the book to see if its in there.

    Next:

RIPD. It had some pretty funny moments & Kevin Bacon was really good in it. But the secret cops hunting down secret undead disguised as humans with special hi-tech guns was way too MIB. (Don't get me wrong, I love MIB) The older, jaded, more experienced partner with the accent & the young green new guy with a love interest was too rehashed too. But it wasn't long and it did have some funny parts, so I would recommend for the kind of light viewing where you don't necessarily have to be paying attention to enjoy it.

Anyone wanna hear my review of various Doctor Who specials? It's not my fault it rained all weekend!

LOVED this movie! It's definitely in my top 10... maybe even top 5. 'you never kill the animals [in a film]! only the women and children!' Absolutely brilliant. I almost didn't go see it in theatres because a friend told me it was horrible. SO glad I didn't listen.
now i can see you?? something like that

"now you see me" I've got that queued up to watch, how was it?

The Hobbit. I'm a big LOTR fan, but I did not enjoy this flick.

I rented it a few months back. For some reason I wasn't in a big rush to try to see in at the theater. I didn't like The Hobbit either. I fell asleep the first time I tried watching it and just wasn't that interested the second time. The last 30 minutes or so were good though. Not really excited for the next two.

I was disappointed by it too but I expected that when you try and turn a 300 page book into 3 three hour films. I'll probably give the next one a miss.

That's kinda funny cuz I couldn't stand any of the LOTR movies but I didn't hate The Hobbit. I mean, I actually sat through the whole thing (in one shot!) and did not fall asleep. There was a bit with some rock monsters that had me laughing so hard there were tears running down my face. Absolutely hilarious.
