Can't recommend this enough. Note that it is in Danish with subtitles and no dubs are available. It's a brutal and captivating historical fiction.

Awesome! Hope more people get out to see it. Media declaring it “flopped.” I found it to be great.

Really enjoyed this. It’s a strange one and maybe not for everyone. If you ever watched a creepy show when you were younger (or now) that you were super in to, you might find this interesting.

It can be a bit of a gut punch if you are older and find yourself spinning your wheels a bit and are lost (not me really, but a reminder to keep pushing forward and stay passionate about your life!).

And any director who puts a poster of Built to Spill on a character’s wall gets bonus points from me.

I enjoy reading your movie tidbits, so thank you!
This one might be too creepy for me. I don’t do well with horror in general. Had to sleep with my light on for years after watching the Exorcist as a child 🫣

Exorcist! That was a scary one!

My sister showed me Nightmare on Elm Street when I was in 3rd grade. I loved it. Then, I had trouble sleeping for like 6 weeks!

This one is definitely horror, but it’s more of an emotional horror film, not a slasher or monster movie. Definitely sticks with you.

Oh wow. Haven’t seen that since the theater. I remember thinking his boat was the coolest thing ever.

Sick over the last few days so I watched:

The Running Man (1987 - an old school rewatch)
All Quiet on the Western Front
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
    A Haunting in Venice

All Quiet on the Western Front was very poignant. It showed the stupidity of war in all its glory. I thought Indiana Jones was maybe 20-30 mins too long? But enjoyable all the same. Just my two cents. Haunting in Venice was a little different to what I was expecting but in a good way. I also see The Running Man is getting a remake!?

Edgar Wright is attached to The Running Man. Love the original but it is not faithful to the Stephen King book at all. Be interesting to see what the new one is like.

Was A Haunting in Venice scary at all? I was interested to see it, but kind of a sissy with spiritual/paranormal stuff..
