John Wick. I’ve heard so many people tout it as amazing so I finally checked it out. It was good but definitely not up to the hype I’ve heard. But a mindless good time nonetheless. I’ll check out the second one.

  • I think the reason I enjoyed John Wick so much was because I had very low expectations... although I liked the second one as well after all of the good hype.
Don't think I've watched the third one.

Low expectations will never disappoint. I’ve seen only the first two as well and thoroughly enjoyed them. Just fun to watch. Plus I’m a sucker for badass muscle cars.

I guess I was the opposite. I had very high expectations just from so many people telling me it’s great. It kinda felt like watching a video game play-through on YouTube or something. Shoot a bunch of people, cut-screen talk with evil Russian guy, and repeat.

I can get that.  I've had that experience, for sure, where a movie is hyped and without hearing that I would have liked it much more.

Watched Godzill vs Kong over the weekend. Had low expectations of "bad fun movie" but it was just a bad movie.

In that case you may as well watch John Wick 3 as it is just as entertaining as the first two and more of the same (Keanu), although I prefer the first one.

We watched that last night. Dependable action, amazing dogs, and some spectacular dick hits.

Plus, the series is always good fodder for jokes.
  • I watched The Invisible Man starring Elisabeth Moss. I thought it was really good. I like Elisabeth Moss as an actress.

    One of my wife’s favorites.

    Still the absolute worst.

And my kids hated it, too, so there’s hope.

One of his roles where his status as a vertically challenged individual poses no issue with his supposed heroics, though.

It was very good - and like most movies like this it certainly a story that pisses a person off.

No disrespect intended, but TG is the subliminally gayest movie ever, not just the VB scene.

All of the dialog is riddled with double entendre.

    Speaking of which...
