I started watching In a Valley of Violence last night. It was an awesome film until
    they killed the goddamn dog
. I had to turn it off after that.

The Dressmaker - loved it.  Quintessentially quirky, genre-busting Aussie film.  Stellar cast and acting.

    Life (2017)

I enjoyed this one. Was not expecting that ending at all.

I thought this show was great. And definitely a turn at the end of the show.

Yes, one of the best Aussie films. Kate Winslet was brilliant in this and so was Liam Hemsworth, who I didn't think could pull off acting with Winslet

The Barkley Marathons: The Race That Eats Its Young

Documentary about this hellish race in the woods in eastern Tennessee. I wish they would have spent more time on the trail with the "runners" but overall it was pretty interesting. In the 30+ years this race has been going on, only something like 15 people have finished the full thing. I found it on Netflix in case anyone cares enough to watch.

I read the Esquire feature about these races (http://www.esquire.com/lifestyle/health/a55986/barkley-marathons/). It would be interesting to hear the voices of some of the people profiled in it—especially Lazarus Lake.
