    The Master.
I dont know what to think. The movie wasnt that good but the performances were outstanding.. Joaquin Phoenix and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

For the first 30 minutes or so I thought it flowed nicely and had me intrigued. Then it got a little weird and slow and kinda lost its direction. I did notice the cinematography and editing were very unique. There were two or three very long sequences without a cut/edit.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)

    Paranoia

Has an entertainment factor (i wasn't tempted to stop watching before the end), but the storyline and characters really really really lack depth. Could have been good probably, but they did a poor job of it.

The Normal Heart. Decent. Someone besides original playwright Larry Kramer, who is one of the best, should have adapted it for the screen. The transitions and dialogue were very theatrical. Such a great play, but it could have been a better movie.

I saw two movies today in the theater, both were real good. First one was Guardians Of The Galaxy which i liked a lot. Funny, real good popcorn flick. Reminded me of a cross between Star Wars and Spaceballs.

Second movie I saw was Boyhood. Pretty great. I didn't really think much of the movie until the end and it's one of those movies that makes you think a lot. Also great soundtrack and acting.

    The Hobbit 2
Not bad but very drawn out in some scenes. Was kind of distracted a bit while watching with the 6 week old boy crying and my 9 year old nephew asking me questions about the movie/book every 5 minutes. Will have to watch late night solo to see if I like it more that way.

If I still partook in that "activity", then hell yes. If I saw this when I was in college and had some shrooms, my head would have exploded.
