Anyone see the new TMNT? how was it?

I didn't see it but I have heard nothing but bad things from people who did. One of them took her son to see and and when they got home she put on the 'real' movie (the one from the 90s) for him.

I really want to see Begin Again and Cavalry. Does anyone know if they're going to be released everywhere or if it's only going to be the limited release that is currently out?

Not seen it yet, but everyone I know who was born in the 90s and saw this movie loved it, most the 70s and 80s born disliked it.

I'll be waiting for the bluray/dl.

    Boyhood.

It's quite possibly the best movie I've ever seen. And to take that a step further, I don't think a better film will be made in my lifetime.

Quite simply, you couldn't nail a subject any better than Linklater and his amazing cast did.

I almost went to see this yesterday, but realized it was 2hr 40 min and I was a bit tired. Hopefully I can catch it while its still in the theater!

Also I saw Begin Again a few weeks ago and really liked it.

Transcendence with Johnny Depp. Cool concept with a terrible delivery.

Hmmm, I was really looking forward to watching that!

Is it still worth a viewing? Or should I just pass on it?

I cant say really. It made me think a lot about the Theory of the Singularity, which is really cool...but again, the delivery was terrible. I couldnt tell if they wanted it to be an action movie, a sci-fi movie, or a drama. It was all over the place and the characters were all kinda lame. But it definitely has hurried me into reading a book I've had sitting on the "to-read" pile called the Singularity is Near, by Ray Kurtzweil.

Well it wasn't that, I just didn't get into it. I don't think I was in the right mood. I'd hate to see something bad to a horse too, though. Probably good that I stopped watching it.

Exactly. I liked it even though it isn't very good. :)

I also saw Adult World. Really enjoyed it.
