I almost wish Manuel would have saved Myers for Game 3, even though he didn't pitch horribly bad yesterday. Myers has been notably better at home all year long, and couldn't have done much worse at the plate then Dobbs.

We still hold the advantage. There are going to be breaks for both teams on various occassions throughout the series... it always happens.

    Go Phils!

Yeah, I would have gone with Myers Game 3 as well, but hindsight is always 20/20. And Myers might still get to pitch at home if tomorrow is rained out.

I kind of agree with that. I would've pitched Moyer in Tampa

True, but I said before the series that Myers should have started Game 3 because then he'd be lined up for Game 7 and a home game. I never liked that he was lined up for 2 road games in Games 2 and 6.

Yeah, but you can't overthink this stuff....If they pitched Moyer, then you would have two lefties in a row that throw off-speed stuff. I don't know, I think ya just keep it as it is....I think they definitely would've shelled Moyer after going against Hamels.

I was in the Blanton camp getting two starts as he's shown more than Moyer so far this postseason, but Charlie knows better than me so let's see Moyer baffle the Rays with offspeed stuff tomorrow.

I just heard that even if tomorrow's game is cancelled they'll eliminate the off day..meaning Hamels will probably not get the third start that many were hoping for in the case of the rain out..

Easy..we beat the Brewers 3-1 and the Dodgers 4-1...oh and you're right..our bats are quite 17 hits, 10 walks and 5 runs in 2 games is veeeeery weak...those Rays with their 12 hits and 5 walks and 6 runs are really kickin our asses huh

Nah, but they're movin runners along which we better start doing right fucking quick. I don't think this team knows what the term "manufacturing runs" means.

Well, that's what happens when people who don't follow the team normally finally start watching them play. It's a small example of a large scale of how the national media works. Usually judging everything by what they have JUST seen.

Isn't that how it always is when it comes to Philly losing? Everyone, and I mean everyone, can't wait to shove it in our faces. I love how people get so much satisfaction out of watching Philly lose. Absolutely love it. Like we have our enemies too whom we love watching lose - i.e. Yankees, Giants, Cowboys, Devils, Rangers, Lakers, Celtics, Mets. But I really think EVERYONE loves watching Philly lose in everything.

What do you mean by 'nah?' There was a lot of talk here in the city about Philly fans and the organization hoping for a rainout so that Hamels could possibly make another start..Baseball announced today that if there was to be a rainout, the extra rest day between games will not be available leaving Hamels and the Phillies in the same exact situation regardless of the weather..

I'm just saying I really don't care. I like them playing 5 in a row actually. Stay loose and warmed up. Hopefully it doesn't get that far and Cole gets a chance to end it in game 5 if Moyer and Blanton come through.
